And I like this. It's the SoundPal soundbar. It's like a $30 soundbar, pretty cheap, but it basically, because of the integration here, the volume control button on the remote controls the volume output from this jack

 I'm out my garage because it just came. This thing is a new TV and it's a TCL. I bought this because actually, I don't know, earlier this year I bought a TCL TV. It was a 32-inch with the built-in Roku and I just love it

 It's the SoundPal soundbar. It's like a $30 soundbar, pretty cheap, but it basically, because of the integration here, the volume control button on the remote controls the volume output from this jack. So even though I don't have an optical cable or anything connected to it, it is nice because now with one remote, I can actually control that soundbar with this remote. So you can see here, so you can see here it is absolutely controlling the volume with the remote to the soundbar

 Obviously it's all based on Roku. So you know what to expect, but let's get it set up and try it out. And because I am a cord cutter, I did plug in my antenna for local channels and it does go through the scanning of the channels here to create a channel guide for you. Okay

TCL 75 Inch 4K UHD Roku Smart TV Review

 What's happening Panda Nation? Peter von Panda here. I'm standing with my Samsung 65-inch TV.

 I've had this TV for years and it's been a trooper, but I just got something new.

 And here it is. I'm out my garage because it just came. This thing is a new TV and it's a TCL. I

 bought this because actually, I don't know, earlier this year I bought a TCL TV. It was a 32-inch with

 the built-in Roku and I just love it. I use it in my office and it's great to have a single remote

 that not only controls the Roku software, but also the TV. Now this one is the biggest one they make,

 75 inches. I would have loved to see an 85-incher, but I get that going from 75 inches to 85 inches

 pretty much on any TV, any brand, seems to be a really big threshold. The price really like

 triples and some doubles or triples. Now there's a couple things about this that I don't have.

 120 hertz. My current TV, because it's old, I think it's only 60 hertz. It has three HDMI,

 including HDMI arc, so I can use it on a soundbar. It's LED, backlit, I believe,

 and it's Wi-Fi enabled, obviously, because it's a smart TV, and it's also 4k. My current TV

 is actually of a vintage that's 1080p. So let's get this thing unboxed. Now there are these little

 plastic braces at the bottom and to get them out, here's how you do it. So these little bars right

 here are squeezed together and then you can pull it out. You can see it'll release from these two

 little stops in there, and then that'll unlock it. So it's kind of holding the TV in. So you squeeze

 this and pull it down, and then these little flaps come in. And so squeeze, pull down, and then pull

 it out. That's it. So once you get those little tabs on the bottom out, the box that surrounds

 the TV just lifts straight off, which makes it really easy to pull the TV and lay it down. You're

 probably going to want another person for it. This is what the back of the TV looks like,

 and I put it on the cardboard here because I'm going to attach the legs, which are on the outside.

 Makes me worry a little bit that how wide this thing is. It might not fit where I have my old

 TV, but we're going to give it the old college try. And you can see in there all the ports and

 everything are right on this right side edge. Left, if you're looking at the back, but we've

 got ethernet, two HDMI's, reset button, cable, optical, HDMI arc, USB, and then an AV in and

 audio out jack. So you should be able to put in, you know, a soundbar. It's really flat. It's very

 sharp edged. That's what you notice the most. I hope I don't have any dead pixels or anything.

 I know people have complained about that with TCL. All right, so to assemble the legs or at

 least put those on, you're going to want to bring it in, put it on a table flat so that the bottom

 edge hangs off so you can attach the legs. So I'll do that now. All right guys, measure twice,

 cut once. Well, I didn't, and I've actually figured out my stand here would not fit these legs. The

 legs hung off the edge. So what I did here, and hopefully this isn't going to be a problem, is I

 just reversed them so that they point inward, which gives me plenty of space now on either side. But

 you can see if they were angled out, I wouldn't be able to get them on. So probably not quite as

 stable as they intended, but this definitely seems to work. Now let's get this thing wired up and

 see if it works. Well, plugged in the power and it is powering up here. So that's pretty cool.

 I'm pretty excited so far. I don't see any dead pixels or anything. I know that's always kind of

 a big concern. Now I'm going to put the batteries in the remote and get this thing

 checked out and set up. Yeah, I don't see any dead pixels. Looks pretty good. And then you'll

 probably notice kind of that standard Roku interface, which is awesome. Let's try it.

 And I'm setting it up. Definitely have the new remote here. And what I love about this new remote

 is that it is just nice and small, has volume controls right here. It has a mute button

 right on the side, power button, which controls the TV. Looks like there's a firmware update.

 And then you just get a really nice Ergo control panel, quick buttons to Netflix, Hulu, Roku,

 and ESPN. I guess they paid for that. I'd rather almost have the Amazon Prime video button there,

 but you can see just a really nice well thought out setup. Obviously it's all based on Roku. So

 you know what to expect, but let's get it set up and try it out. And because I am a cord cutter,

 I did plug in my antenna for local channels and it does go through the scanning of the channels

 here to create a channel guide for you. Okay. One other thing that I really like about this
