The memory functions are great for ergonomics. Once you find the ideal height, you can save it and never have to think about it again. This is a very high quality product for a reasonable price, and I would gladly recommend it.

I have no idea how to rotate the cylinder so that it aligns with the lever. Seems like a serious design flaw if the cylinder can rotate such that the level is misaligned and the raise/lower functionality doesn't work.

I bought this chair second hand on Amazon, which allowed me to get it 'like-new' at a price that was basically a no brainer (it was about half the 'new' price). A note of warning, watch some assembly videos if your second hand chair comes disassembled to make sure you are putting things in the wrong way..
