Spyderco Tasman Salt 2 Lock
Spyderco Tasman Salt 2 Hawkbill Folder Knife Review
The Tasman Salt 2 family utilizes Spyderco’s back lock mechanism–a locking system positioned on the back of the handle that uses a rocker arm that pivots in the center. This model, the C106PBK2, features a black FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) handle, a satin finished hawkbill style blade, Spyderco’s trademark round hole opening feature and the fully reversible 4-way titanium pocket clip allows for a tip up or tip down carry on either side of the handle. This knife will make for your next go-to diving knife, because it doesn’t rust, it is low maintenance, and the Bi-Directional texturing on the handle will give you a solid grip in almost any situation or environment

Blade is very chippy
I've used this knife for a few weeks now, and with medium use, cutting zip ties, opening boxes, packages, etc. and the blade has chipped a couple of times right on the top. Disappointing as it's a great tough knife, but I think it's due to how they belt sharpen at the factory and it heats the blade ...

Spyderco Tasman Salt 2 Knife Review | Ep. 204
What i don't like about a lot of river knives that are uh, that that are external knives, is that, instead of being curved out, it's kind of back, and so this is the knife a lot of people like to use. This is a dive knife that people swear by because it has a really good locking mechanism and it's true. This knife is not going to fall out of its mechanism, but it's also not going to cut this rope

My first Benchmade (Crooked River customized)
But I noticed the downside to the axis lock with such a long grip. Can't really use my thumb to fold knife effectively. I've always been a fanboy of the Spyderco PM2 but I've lost mine at work, so I hope the pink lanyard would help me find it easier since I have a habit of setting it down and losing it.
