With the rest of the money I would suggest that you buy some nice new Z glass like 24-70 mm f/2.8 and 40 mm f/2.

I'm not saying this is a bad camera and I haven't compared it to other mirrorless systems. I can only say that I wasn't impressed and, for the price of the body and the lenses with what seems like a drop in Nikon quality, I just don't see it as worth it anymore. I think Nikon has been making a lot of bad moves over the past few years and I'm really losing confidence in investing so much money into them. Mirrorless IS the future and I would love to jump in, Sadly for the cost of entry to the quality of the product I think I'm going to return this and stick with my DSLR until it's no longer working, but by then will Nikon even still be around?

Now after about 2 months with the camera I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend that anyone looking for an excellent mirrorless interchangeable lens camera take a close look at the Z7 II. Best if you can see one in person - it is more compact than you might be expecting. Beyond the camera itself, the new Z mount lenses also appear to be a noticeable step forward, especially in sharpness, which the Z7 II can fully utilize. The larger Z mount is making that possible
