The Android UI, overall, is a pleasant experience, and offers most streaming apps that the average user will want. It doesn't offer quite the plethora of apps that Roku does, but overall, that's not a downside to me. Remote Control: Not much to say here other than that the remote is well laid out and your fingers quickly learn where to land to execute the desired function. Definitely an improvement over past Sony offerings

A few times it wouldn’t turn on at all. I realized at that point that if the Roku function broke on this, that it would be totally worthless and I would be unable to turn it on to use. The remote control is the same type as you get for a freestanding Roku device that you hook up separately to a smart TV. It just does not work very well, and I have a feeling the TV is going to have a relatively short life before it just won’t work

But I told him I didn’t have the box anymore. He said find a box and ship it back. I said I didn’t have one if I bought a replacement could I ss end it back in that ? He said yes so after more emails to Sony I gave up bought another , got it set it up and wow ! The pictures better and the sound bar stays on . My wife is happy and so am I

The sound quality is poor. You’d have to buy a sound bar to get greeter volume. Also commercials are so much louder than the program I’m watching. I also set up payments and they tried to take the payment 5 days earlier then they were supposed too!, and then the payment was unsuccessful because I didn’t have enough money in my acct to pay it

Not just any menu to view what is on tv right now, but a menu to show you what is coming up. TCL is so high tech for cord cutters, by adding a USB drive to the tv you can pause live tv. This is amazing. imagine watching your favorite show but you need a bathroom break

i bought an audio extractor, but it did not allow volume control with the TV remote using HDMI to the extractor and in turn optical and RCA red/white to the sound bar. I also tried the TV optical output direct to the sound bar. That does not work. So, Sony, find solutions!

I had a ROKU device attached to the LG so the choice of a ROKU TV was a given. I do like the O.S. and user interface
