I figure this is a similar problem to the previous case. I was sold dysfunctional equipment with a broken controller which would not detect. Unless the PS3, I could begin the game, but only very slowly and without any controller response.

Someone else said Walmart probably sold units that were in transit to them, but didn't physically have yet. That's sounds ~~plausible~~/likely. Once they get them, they repackage and send them out to those who were lucky enough to get one.  

I did contact walmart CS on live chat, and got the same vague response as everyone else seems to get. "It *could* arrive sooner. Your order is confirmed, you will receive it". Basically they say  you should get it faster than 6 weeks, but they have no clue when

I (my wife) got one on the *last* drop of the day for purchasing the Playstation 5 on March 4th. I have been trying to search for more info, but can't turn up any recent info. It seems like back in November, December, maybe even January, orders were taking about 3+ weeks to ship, but they recieved them quickly after they shipped or the status change from "preparing order". I believe that since then, delivery wait times have gone down

Want to see if anyone experiencing similar issue.  I just got a first gen Apple TV 4K and it’s not showing Dolby Atoms?  
My set up is LGB9 with Sonos Arc and 2 Ones
Playing the same movie with the native tv app Atmos is working fine.

As for the controller, it's freaking awesome and weird at the same time. Playing Astrobot you can feel the bots that jump in the onscreen controller move around in your actual controller. Come on Sony!!!! This system is RIDICULOUS hard to get a hold of! If been staying up till 12 each night to try and get one and I have not been able to even seen the in stock sign! Make more please!  Imagine paying so much money for flagship model and having to manually workaround a simple Audio stream. It’s criminal customer service. Not to mention the source (PS5) is the same dumb company and they can’t seem to get a few emails I between them to iron this problem that’s been smearing their reputation all over the web. 

 At least with LG you can set the eARC to be on all the time. Sony only has Auto, which means you’re at the mercy of some dumb engineer to remember to code the software to activate the link that triggers LPCM automatically. The least they could have done is give us the option to do it ourselves. It’s a really dumb small problem to fix but the impact on experience is huge and don’t get me started on how stupid and slow the  menu navigation to get to that option itself

All of them lied to me, from their showroom to their support. I changed my AVR for no reason and my old one is gathering dust. The eARC of the 65” 2019 version used to send digital scramble-like sound all of a sudden that damaged my very expensive speakers high frequency range. And then they up-sold me the 83” for extra money with no compensation what so ever

 The least they could have done is give us the option to do it ourselves. It’s a really dumb small problem to fix but the impact on experience is huge and don’t get me started on how stupid and slow the  menu navigation to get to that option itself.

<div class="md"><p>Three days ago I took delivery of a brand new 75&quot; x90j and I&#39;ve been having an arc issue with my Yamaha rx-v379 ever since. At first, it seemed there was no audio output via arc at all. Then I discovered that I had to switch the receiver to a different source, then switch it back to the correct source again to get audio. I have to do this EVERY time I switch on the TV and receiver. The TV itself however reliably reports connection to the receiver as soon as the receiver is turned on. </p>

<p>I have tried disconnecting all other devices and I&#39;ve even replaced my high speed HDMI cable with and ultra high speed cable, but the issue persists.</p>

<p>Prior to this I had a Samsung NU7100 and I never once had this issue. I also used to control everything via a fire cube and barely touched the remote control for the AV receiver, so the current &#39;work around&#39; is a real pain in the a$$. My reason for using arc is that my receiver doesn&#39;t support 4K HDR. </p>

<p>If this is quick between this particularly TV and receiver I&#39;m happy to put up with it as I&#39;ll probably be getting a new receiver, but I&#39;m worried that I have a faulty TV and that, by the time I get a new receiver, it&#39;ll be too late to return the TV. </p>

<p>Looking for advice on this issue. Should I return the TV? I&#39;ve already been on the phone to Richer Sounds and they&#39;re happy to replace the TV if that&#39;s what I want. I&#39;ve also thought of getting a cheap soundbar just to see if I get the same problem. </p>
