The best camera for landscape photography we've tested is the Sony α7 III. Though it's now been replaced by the Sony α7 IV, this well-built camera remains a popular choice among newcomers and photography enthusiasts. It's become clear that the A7C overheats shooting 4K24/4K30 around the 1:20 or 1:30 mark. This is not even recording continuously, it's just having the camera turned on (for CamLink output or b-roll) that long at a time. This camera is definitely an upgrade from my a6000. But that was not my reason to buy it. I was considering the FDR-AX700 camcorder but when I saw the video recording capabilities of the a6400, it seemed like the right choice, mainly because it is much less expensive than the AX700 and smaller. But what really convinced me was that it does not shut down after only a few minutes of recording as the other alpha models and it has no recording lenght limit

I then tried to use the manual focus but nothing happens, I remembered I had to turn the manual focus option on, so I get into the menu and the focus mode option is greyed out, if I try get into the option an error message "your lens is not supported or its installed incorrectly" shows up, only way to go is to shut camera off and turned it on again, which will return autofocus to work, but if i repeat the exercise it just stops working all over again, sometimes even without crop mode/zoom mode on, just by going from 28 to 70 mm on the lens, or even mid way, maybe 40 mm or 50 mm. Sometimes even the camera would pull me out of menu screen, I would click menu button, I am trying to navigate menu, then you can hear the focus mechanism moving and camera pulls me out of menu screen o regular screen, I have to press menu again, sometimes to be pulled out of the menu repeated times I re installed the lens (white dot with white dot, turn until click noise) golden plates on the lens are clean, did this 3 times, nothing. I called Amazon service, friendly person who quickly contacted me to Sony, and this is the part I did not like. We went through basic things to try and fix the issue, including resetting the camera, after which the issue presented itself quite quickly, so the person at Sony (again, a very friendly and helpful person) told me I needed to send the camera back to Sony for service

I used the lens that came with it twice and now it's jammed. It gives an error that says "Cannot recognize lens, please attach it properly." It is attached properly. What is the solution, according to the internet experts? To push and pull on the lens until it works again

The A9 has all of Sony’s bells and whistles, but it comes with a price tag to match. The new A7 models, however, bring many of the A9’s advancements down to more pedestrian price levels. Only downside is for what you pay you are given rpetty cheap packaging. Like, come on Sony. This is a thousand dollar camera, you can't throw in some bells and whistles? The strap is absolute cheapy cheap quality and the camera wasn't even foam protected in it's box. My $100 Canon powershot was packaged better than this!

Full frame sensor, 10 bit color, great image stabilization and the kit lens (20-60 f3.5 to 5.6) is actually really good. We’ve soaked the camera in splashes from muddy pondwater, ran it outside in below zero temps, and it’s been great

The A7II's shutter count rating communicated by Sony was false and now a lot of A7IIs are dying prematurely, but just outside warranty. The only thing the A6400 has an edge over the X-S10 on is battery life. Fuji caught up to that camera in autofocus already and everything from stills to video to features is higher quality on the X-S10. The X-S10 has IBIS at $1000 for crying out loud
