Sole F63 Treadmill Review

This is a long term review of the Sole F63 treadmill. I purchased from Dick's Sporting Goods and purchase the 3 year extended warranty. August of 2010 will be the end of the third year so far I have had the console replaced twice because the display was starting to fade out in certain places and have replace the front roller once because one of the magnets that controls the speed kept falling out and the roller started squeaking. Also had the "running" deck replaced and I imagine it is going to break again

 At least buy the extended warranty. I have received pretty good service from the warranty company. Hope this long term review helps.

 I called Sole and a 2-3 week process began to get parts and a technician out to fix the brand new unit. To their credit, Sole did fix the problem, but I am dismayed that a $1000 treadmill can show up broken. Sole is a US company, but most of the unit is made in China. Someone at Sole needs to get their manufacturing partners in line

eTL:DR. Sole F63 treadmill keeps burning out speed control board - board, motor both replaced twice, belt replaced once, seems like the board is about to burn out again. I know this reads like an email I should send to Sole support, but I'm just so frustrated with them at this point, and I'm hoping that a benevolent and wise redditor can offer some insight.  You must have at least two STRONG people or pay for installation. The motor and tread weighs someting like 150 lbs and is around 5 feet long so it is not easy to move around. My brother and I had to get it down a set of stairs. He is strong as an ox, but was ready to give up by the time we made it to the bottom

Exactly what I was looking for

  I chose the F63 because the F80 was 50% more in price and I couldn't justify the price difference. The F80 does have a better deck, larger motor and better warranty. But the warranty on the F63 is not that bad. The deck is a little harder but it's more flexible than the street! I also liked the electronics on the F63 more than the F80

Excelllent Choice for the Money

I like to run close to the screen and it's impossible to do on this treadmilll without constantly stepping on the motor cover. I can't believe they could test this treadmill design and think the size of the hood wasn't an issue. Buyer beware.

I've had the NordicTrack "Commercial" 1750 treadmill now for just over a year and wanted to write a quick review. My TL;DR is: purchase a different treadmill and stay away from NordicTrack. The basics are there - it (currently) works, it turns on, connects to iFit, you can walk/run on it, move the incline, all of that basic stuff. But it hasn't been a great treadmill, and I would purchase another kind of treadmill were I to make that decision today

I bought a Nordictrack commercial 1750 around Christmas time and I absolutely love it. I’m not a ‘new’ runner but I’m getting a ton out of some of the iFit programs.

I used to run about 30 miles a week.  About a year ago, we had to move for my job and unfortunately moved to a neighborhood that isn't runner friendly.  Between the move, COVID, new job, etc., I haven't ran in over a year.  I'm really missing it and wanting to get back into it, but my neighborhood really isn't conducive to running.

I'd like to get a treadmill, but am not sure where to start.  I know it's not the same as running outside, but it's better than nothing.  Do you guys have any recommendations?  Or know of any good websites where I can research treadmills?

Treadmill Recommendations

  I've never, I mean NEVER write reviews on products and I felt the need to do so after what I've experienced to date with Nordictrack - simply is the worst.  Please take my advice and purchase other manufacturer equipment - anything else will be better.   I will be finding as many places to post this review to as I can't believe how bad of an experience this has been after spending the amount of money we did on this equipment.

We renovated our home gym and 12 months ago bought a Commercial 2950 Treadmill and 6 months ago a RW900 Rower - Nearly $7,000 worth of equipment.  To date - the treadmill I've had to replace the motherboard not once, but twice, a wiring harness, the entire walking deck, and now its borken AGAIN and the 'fix' is to replace the motor now and the motherboard for a 3rd time

 I'm a very handy person, and replacing the deck alone was a 4-5 hour process.  I wish I knew how bad these machines are, they should not be allowed to be on the market.  I've never, I mean NEVER write reviews on products and I felt the need to do so after what I've experienced to date with Nordictrack - simply is the worst.  Please take my advice and purchase other manufacturer equipment - anything else will be better

Nordictrack is the worst - buy something else.

  Now iFit is pretty good but there are a few things that seem to be developing pretty slowly on their end. They finally were able to add support for bluetooth headphones a couple of weeks ago which I can't imagine why it would take so long for such a basic feature. My biggest wish is that they would integrate with other aggregators (google fit, fitbit, apple, anything) as well as have Spotify or other music integrations on the console. In their defense they do not state that this is a feature and I purchased the treadmill without any promise that this would be done

 Also check that the belt is properly centered after running on it for a few minutes. Mine was not after assembly and the belt tore slightly. I removed the tear and all the strings that came out and wrapped around the rollers. After that it was super easy to center and has stayed centered since

 In the absence of any integrations they should at least open up their API so others could write integrations for them(I know there is an API in place and I know that it does store all the data from my workouts). That being said, the workouts with trainers are pretty great and the feature to create your own routes with google maps is good. I haven't had any issues with the videos and/or the google maps feature. The deck is pretty wide and roomy

Also, I was able to get Customer Service pretty quickly and they shipped a new belt to me for free. I have left the old one on for now since the tear is pretty small

 I see this as a positive, as it appears to be a solid unit and not flimsy at all. Assembling it was pretty straight forward though it was a bit hard to line up the grip bars and the console. Even so I was still able to get it together with the help of one more person as they suggest. There were 2 screws in the side bars that I was not able to get in but there are 3 others holding them in place and it seems fine (now 2 months after assembling it)

 Ifit would be cool tho. Belt needs to be at least 20x60. I am 6 foot 230lbs and plan on mostly walking, some jogging and some HIIT.

Also take into account where you want it first because this thing will not fit through a standard door without some creative sideways sliding action

  Finally, here is my biggest grip. The description on Amazon sucks so if you go to the Nordictrack page or any reviewer of the 2019 version of the 1750 you will see that this treadmill is supposed to include the tablet holder and a chest strap heart rate monitor.  Nordictrack advised me today that the version that is indistinguishable via model number and is sold by Amazon does not include either of these items. I was PISSED to say the least as this is really shady. The tablet holder is an extra $96.00 and the HR Monitor was another $125

Good treadmill but there are caveats

 Still haven't heard from them. Calls and emails, just go ignored. After spending 2k plus, disappointing to say the least.
