Yep! Laptop -> usb —> smsl sanskrit 6th  -> smsl A12 -> q acoustic 3020. Very energetic sounding but not too fatiguing highs.

The A and M series are really great value phones. I'm using an A12 for work duty and it's a solid performer. My SO's M20 is running well as well, although it's a bit slow for my taste. But for most users, these are really great value phones

The A series is actually turning about to be real good, proper for casual users and with 3 years of OS updates, multiple colours and hopefully a good price

Got to thank chinese manufacturers for this lol, before this, Samsung's A series was awful value, ugly looking phones. Now they look competent and tbh are better value than flagships coming with more stuff in the box than the S and Fold/Flip line.

Hardware isn't the issue with Samsung camera's. I have the S21 Ultra which has all the camera hardware you can imagine, and I'm still disappointed with the camera and feel older phones I had took much better photos. Even doing comparisons with my older phones, the S21 Ultra looks worse.

Samsung need to improve the software of the cameras. Its image processing isn't great.

OIS will be present on all Samsung Galaxy A series devices next year

  However, when I used the USB connection my music was choppy, laggy, and filled with clicking sounds. I tried using a separate cheap DAC on the line-in input and it sounded great once again. I was hoping for an all-in-one solution for my desktop speaker setup, so I wanted an amp with a good internal DAC. My recommendation: don't buy this if you are going to use the USB connection

Amp makes my speakers sound great, but internal DAC is terrible

This little amp is great for the money. We have it driving a pair of Polk T15 speakers on the 3-season porch. Bluetooth seems to be pretty unreliable, but we're using a Chromecast connected to an HDMI audio extractor as a source (since Chromecast Audio isn't a thing anymore). Switches are nerve-wrackingly small, but don't seem like they will break (others have reported)

Excellent sound quality. Questionable bluetooth.

[, Music, ], hey! What'S up guys, my name is josh and today we're going to be talking about the drop thx aaa 1, also known as the aaa one linear amplifier right before we get into it. This is a pre-production model that drop did send out. They'Re not paying or asking me to say anything good or bad about this product, and you can pre-order this if you want to on the website all links to everything that i talked about in this video are going to be down below. So this amp and amps like it are built specifically to bridge a gap and that exists with people who want something that is relatively on the budget side for cost, but has really good specs and a decent amount of power and reasonably enough power to drive

 Now the sound quality coming out of this is very, very similar to the existing thx line, both the dac amps from monoprice, the 887 for monoprice and the 789 from drop. It'S a very precise, almost clinical sound, it's extremely fast. It'S got no extra frills, no extra! This or that it's not going to help your music in any way. It'S basically just putting out the signal exactly how it comes through

 The bass response is incredibly clean, but not bloated um. It'S also not got the typical shoutiness of kind of lower tier amps of kind of yesterday, amps like five years ago that were under 500. Generally speaking, had this weird shoutiness effect: they may have had a lot of power, but the specs and and just the way that it performed its job just led to this sort of shouty jumpy design. That'S not really what you get with this amp at all

  Value wise any of the THX with the Sp200 from Smsl being the best (other than the horrible linear channel imbalance prone volume pot), beats wait...

  The only reason was the warranty. Too many instances of Drops QC being unreliable wasn't worth the nice feeling gain switch knob with the detent. 3 year for monoprice is no Brainer to me.  The monoprice seems to output more power as well per SE channel

Top tier performance but QC and warranty is meh

 I do want to send a huge thank you to the anonymous individual who sent this the THX in for review and also Ryan from mod house Chuck Mont house out for mod house organs for sending out the so Chris balanced 1541 DAC to be able to test All the balance amplifiers to their full capacities, so huge shout out to Ryan for helping me out anyways, alright enough of the outro peace, have a good bye! Ok enough! 

 What output it's using. Occasionally it will not work and I have to turn it off and turn it back on. I didn't really happen too often, and it was kind of one of those things where, as soon as I tried to catch it on video, it of course wasn't doing it. So so, for the sake of this review, I want to mention it but also say that it's definitely possible that it was subject to my own air, of something that I did without knowing yet maybe pulling the output out too slowly

 That is its competitor being the Jotunheim. I think it beats the own time and a lot of ways now don't get me wrong. The old time, I think, is a good amplifier. I really do think that I just think the 789 is a much more exacting and a lot greater in terms of dynamics in detail, whereas Jotunheim, I would suggest to people if they were going for some form of tonality, and I know that some people love some People hate, but I really think that when it comes to tonality and flavor, there's no right or wrong if you like the sound signature, that's great more power to you! If you don't that's fine too, it really doesn't matter, but on a technicality standpoint

 So, at the end of the day, I'm kind of a practical application guy, I'm a end-result type of guy if it works in the end result if it sounds good at the end result, that's really all I care about, but you may have different priorities and, speaking Of that end result, what we really care about here is the sound quality right, that's kind of the main benefit. We all know that it measures very well. It'S got a really low noise floor, blah blah blah, but how does it actually sound? It'S very precise and very very sharp and very dynamic, and, whilst being all those things it could be, in my opinion, described as being a little but dry. It'S it's a very stark, sounding amplifier, it's it's very cut and dry, and it compared to an amplifier

 So I sought a headphone amp. My criteria is I want to hear every bit of information that is on the CD and nothing that isn't. Being familiar with the sound of Neve headphone channels in studio mixing boards, I was attracted to the Rupert Neve headphone amp available as a discrete unit. I had confidence this would give me what I want

 I tried using the headphone output on my otherwise great Onkyo c-7030 CD player, and it was quite a disappointment in a number of ways. But that is not surprising because such headphone outputs on consumer audio gear are just a cheap add-on feature. So I sought a headphone amp. My criteria is I want to hear every bit of information that is on the CD and nothing that isn't

 However it is pretty expensive, so I checked as many reviews I could find, and for $180 less than the Rupert Neve box, this Drop+THX AAA 789 appeared to be sonically the same, so I took the risk of trying it, and while I have no way to A/B it with the Neve it satisfies what I wanted from it 100% and I don't imagine I will be thinking I need anything better. Exactly what I hoped it would be

I have mine paired with an SMSL SU-9 DAC. It's as-advertised, a THX certified solid state amplifier with very high quality, linear output regardless of amplification level. I am using the balanced inputs and outputs with several different headphones.

) but I am running balanced "just because."  Buy it, you won't regret it, and probably won't wish for more!

Fantastic desktop amp

 That's craziness. That's how much I love this thing. This is my recommendation for a single-ended amplifier, period. And yes, I would take this over the topping A90

 It powers all my headphones except for the super mega hard-to-drive aerodynamic DT880 600 ohms, and the everything else plays easily. And then the other thing that just is just I'm in love with is the pre-out, because you can use the gain switch with it, and you can variable the volume. And when you hit the pre-out switch, it mutes your headphones and only comes through the pre-out. This thing is fantastic and drop-thought of everything when they design this

 Everything just sounds proper, and it has a very nice soundstage with good depth and layering, and it has exceptionally good detail retrieval and resolution, and it has a very nice crisp and just fast and accurate approach to the sound. If I were to nitpick about the DROP-THX AAA-1 linear, wait a minute, I said I was only gonna call it the one linear. If I was going to nitpick the one linear, I would say two things that stand out minuscule, and that is that the details at times are a little bit rounded. They're a little bit softened, and then also there is a slight lack of air at times on some tracks and things

 Also, I was not influenced, impacted, requested, paid, or anything of the sort to give a positive or a negative review of the DROP-THX AAA-1 linear. All thoughts and opinions are my own. So the DROP-THX AAA-1 linear, this is very much reminiscent of the 789 that sat on my desk for a very long time. Built very similar, just a little bit smaller, not quite as thick, has the same footprint from what I can tell, a little bit lighter, but this thing is solid and it's not going to move around on your desk

The Drop THX AAA One Linear Amplifier is the ONLY SE amplifier you need and here are my Honest Audiophile impressions and reason.
