Simplehuman Compact Steel Frame vs SANNO Large Expandable Drying Rack

Bought this as a replacement for my old Super Human workhorse dish drainer which finally died after many years. This new model has many fewer features: no knife slots in the cutlery basket, drain tray under cup clips does not retract nor do clips themselves. The plastic material of the drainer itself is thinner and the plate rack inside is less sturdy and is not adjustable at all. This is not the robust and well engineered product I expected from Super Human and at this price point

It’s able to handle heavy dishes, you just have to stack them strategically for a large amount. I’m satisfied with my purchase.

3. Flexibility in Size. It's both con and pro. It's very flexible, so don't worry about counter top space

None of those issues are the fault of the supplier or the quality of the drain. I would prefer The utensil bin be a little larger would be my only complaint regarding the product. All in all, if you measure properly this could be a great product!

So when it gets wet, it looks tacky. Way to expensive for plastic. Would not recommend.

Plus i don't care for a line-of-sight dish rack on my kitchen counter. This item nestles nicely in the sink leaving a few inches underneath. It looks much more expensive than the cheaplooking plastic ones and it's much better than those over the sink roll out drying racks. My high end sink has a sturdy chrome rack covering the bottom to keep pots from scratching the surface and this matches the chrome look so it almost appears like it was part of the sink set

I love this dishrack! I particularly appreciate its sturdiness and its add-on wine glass rack that takes 5 seconds to install or remove. This rack literally makes cleanup easier. One critique: after struggling to understand the dimensions online, I first ordered the small size, which was too small. The basic dimensions of the "bin" of the large size are 20"D x 13 1/2"W plus 3 3/4" draining tray under the glass holders

Fits great on my farm sink and I no longer have to see dishes drying on the counter!!! Super sturdy!!
