Bought this as a replacement for my old Super Human workhorse dish drainer which finally died after many years. This new model has many fewer features: no knife slots in the cutlery basket, drain tray under cup clips does not retract nor do clips themselves. The plastic material of the drainer itself is thinner and the plate rack inside is less sturdy and is not adjustable at all. This is not the robust and well engineered product I expected from Super Human and at this price point

2022 Model is disappointing

 This one has a metal grate with large tines on one side (for plates) and no tines on the other. It's very difficult to use the non-tine side effectively. If they had put the metal support in a different spot, maybe used two in an offset pattern from the one they did, it would work the way I need it to by allowing items to slot into the grate instead. As it is, I can't lean anything, it all slides down

  I bought this to replace a previous model that was very similar. Previous model was all plastic, was on legs and had the movable pour spout. I wanted something with the legs and spout feature again because why doesn't every dish rack have that? Seriously.  Pros: * The draining system is better than the previous model I had

I really like this dish rack, small, sleek, and clean looking. The only suggestion I have is too make the sides shorter, so you are not seeing a lot of aluminum.

Very cheap

I had to replace the first SH compact one that was bought over 10 years. It was made of plastic so getting a stainless steel look is definitely an upgrade. The rack is solid made, golden standard of the brand. I missed the feature of the sprout from the old one that I could pivot to different side, not a deal breaker though

 I think it could sit a little lower (shorter legs), but it is looks nice, so that's a minor quibble.

I love this dishrack! I particularly appreciate its sturdiness and its add-on wine glass rack that takes 5 seconds to install or remove. This rack literally makes cleanup easier. One critique: after struggling to understand the dimensions online, I first ordered the small size, which was too small. The basic dimensions of the "bin" of the large size are 20"D x 13 1/2"W plus 3 3/4" draining tray under the glass holders

Love it, but measurements were confusing

  I’ve used it a few times to hang a baking mat on it just because I was too lazy to dry it and I have no where to store the wine glass attachment so I did hook it up.  But it would be more useful to me to be able to hold more regular drink glasses and I wish that was an option.  The price is high but it’s stainless steel and you don’t need anything else like a mat under it. I’d say the quality, the fact that it is stainless steel steel and the size make the price fair

It’s awesome that you can turn the drain any way you want to fit your counter or for example, we are used to having the silverware holder closest to our sink and we set it up the same way. That was a selling point for me

 But I was planning to send it back if it wasn’t bigger than my last drain board. So the size mattered most in the end.  If you are hesitant, buy it.

It's HUGE!

 I decided not to return it because this kind of thing was bound to happen eventually and it didn't affect the functionality of the rack (it was just a chip off the underside of the insert and not visible once assembled). But it's a reminder that the sturdiest item is only as strong as its weakest component. Aside from that minor mishap, it's doing its job well and I'm happy with the purchase. Hopefully the overall lifetime of the product will justify the cost (it's not cheap!)

Good dish rack

 Jury's out as to lasting as it is a natural material-this is where plastic SHOULD be used. (I put beeswax on it.) The drainage still needs to improve-I put the extender piece beneath the overall drainage piece and water pools a bit in the corners still. The plastic is much lighter weight than the original and different type

Safest Choice for Large Dish Drying Rack

We go through racks around here! Lots of dishes to be done and pots/pans. The design seems to be one that will last - we are really hoping the underneath part (water guide) will not crack up thought that must be a challenge with all the soap, banging and temperature changes these products get - eh? I like how the wire is protected by a soft coating that is fused with the thick rack - good design.  The knife holder becomes more useful than constantly putting our knives in a drawer and is a safety feature (no pointy edges waiting). The hanging rack feature has its benefits too for delicates that just need to be hung away from the rest

This was one of the upgrades to make my home more user friendly. Two years ago if someone had told me I would spend this much on a dish drainer I would have said they were crazy. The product looks good, stainless steel so no rust, the drain tray has a significant angle and drains well. The drain tray is elevated and easily overlaps the lip on the kitchen sink
