Bought from here as I have a store 2 miles from my house and I can take it there if any problems arise. I was going to get the vitus zenium but this was the same price and has better specs but an aluminum rather than carbon frame.

I live about 12 miles away from the mosque and 10 miles from my work. I will be cycling at 5AM to work and back at 2PM. Then to the mosque for Isha prayers and back home. I would also like t start doing some long rides of 50+ miles as there is a bike club locally and they regularly do long rides. I think the longest I have seen is 105 miles to the lake district and 105 miles return. Would this bike be suitable?

I just bought got this Canondale for £1099 - Did I get a good deal or get ripped off?

 I've got a little link to them in the video description, otherwise you'd have to use a non-series caliper. I've actually done this on a previous build and again, the difference I don't think there really is a difference is just the overall shape of the caliper, so that shouldn't put you off beyond weight and a very slight difference in feel. There is now very, very little that separates 105 from Ultegra. Likewise, if you are a chronic weight weaning, it's possible that Ultegra may make a more compelling option for you

 First off, we have my All City Mr. Pink. Now, Although that didn't have a Shimano crank set, I used the majority of the group set on that bike. It was quite interesting to see how it worked with components from other manufacturers

 There is now very, very little that separates 105 from Ultegra. Likewise, if you are a chronic weight weaning, it's possible that Ultegra may make a more compelling option for you. It is a fool's errand trying to determine a complete group set weight. For any group set, there's so many variables that make enough of a difference to matter, but in a comparable spec to a standard 105 group set I worked out on average you'll save about 310 grams

 That's not a lot of weight. You could so easily lose that from other parts of your bike with a much less outlay, and like the rest of us, I could do with losing it myself. Likewise, in terms of cost, it's really, really hard to make a comparison between the two, But at the time of writing, if you're comparing a 105 rim break group set to an Integra Room break group set, you probably spend about 160 pounds more at street pricing. Again, refer to your preferred retailer for actual pricing, but that gives you a rough estimate of what you're looking at

Which probably doesn't tell you a great deal, but if I put into context and say that Ultegra is just a 174 grams lighter, then you'll see that there isn't much of a difference there at all

 And although that doesn't change the performance of the groupset, what it does do is allow bike manufacturers to actually design their frames a little bit differently. You Can have shorter chainstays, which you wouldn't want on every bike, but you would want on really nice, racy, snappy feeling bikes. Now Whilst we're sticking with chainrings, I Did notice that the big ring here is really beefed up with loads of kind of supporting fins on the inside. Because I Guess a stiffer front chainring is a good thing, particularly for crisp, smooth shifts

New Shimano 105 Groupset - Detailed & Demoed

- In spring of 2018 Shimano
announced a complete overhaul

of their super-popular
workhorse groupset 105.

And seeing as it's now
cropping up all over 2019 bikes

so we could talk you
through it's finer points.

You can choose from an array
of super wide gear options,

And the redesign improves the ergonomics,

or those with small hands
are gonna be super excited

because there is a smaller
lever option as well.

Now we've got hands on the R7020 version.

Which as you can see is the
hydraulic disc break one.

that disk breaks have
popped up at 105 level

As they have done with
it's bigger brothers,

some of the features from
those more expensive groupsets

Now there is a reduced
shifter body diameter there,

so that affectively means it
feels a little bit smaller

I think that gives you a
more secure grip on the bike

as well as actually
reducing fatigue as well.

Now in order to fit all
the hydraulics inside

Shimano have kinda extended
the lever forwards and up

a little bit more than
they have on Dura Ace.

But it's been shaped quite ergonomically,

so it kind of functions as
an additional hand position.

being great for people with smaller hands

and that actually brings the
lever closer to your handlebar.

I mean essential for
people with smaller hands.

In addition to that
there is also, of course,

the aforementioned
alternative lever option.

So it's called R7025, as opposed to R7020.

Remember that I'll be
testing you on it later on.

in 160 and 140 mil diameters

that we've seen before
on Ultegra and Dura Ace.

But they do still share
that same triple layer

be said about disk brakes

You get more modulation
which gives you more control.
