Had a Shark IQ and it was terrible. Constantly got "stuck" in the middle of a hardwood floor, constantly got lost, and the companion app is a steaming pile of dog shit. Ditch it and get a Roomba or any other highly rated robot vac.

The first one lasted a little over a year and then slowly lost its suction. I bought a dyson animal, much more expensive, and corded, which sucks so well I had a hard time using it on my thicker carpeted areas. I decided to get another cordless shark for bedrooms and our upstairs, to use once a week then maybe every now and then get a deeper clean with the dyson. Everything about the design is thoughtful. Convenient to take apart and empty, put back together, remove and clean the filter, recharge. Ease of use is unparalleled due to light weight and rotating head. All my life I have hated vacuuming, and I still don't adore it, but this little cordless machine takes away 88% of the intrinsic aggravation

Upon unboxing and initial inspection you can tell it had been previously owned but was well cleaned. Everything worked perfect. The round foam filter was clean but stained/discolored and the HEPA filter was not there. I would still recommend but maybe have back up filters too

After using Kirby, Rainbow, and Miele for years we tried Shark and it wasn't that bad. They lasted over 4 years with replacing the HEPA filter and did well for helping my grandfather's CPOD + Asthma and my own Asthma but I did have to do some minor repairs and disassembling it sucked with how often it was needed.
