Dyson cordless vacuums are a bit spendy, but deliver best-in-class performance that tends to match their steep price. While it also cleans small and large debris from bare floors outstandingly well, it struggles more with smaller debris on carpet but it still does a great job on these surfaces overall. This vacuum also has excellent maneuverability, making it easy to clean under tables or to clean car seats. As it's fairly easy to maintain, and as long as each of its parts is cleaned according to their respective maintenance needs, recurring costs are low. That being said, it has a small dirt compartment that needs frequent emptying and some users may find the included tools and brushes limiting

I opted for the Dyson V11 Animal, but I’m sure there are other cheaper models that are similarly effective. Before this, I had a really clunky corded stand up vacuum. It cleaned just fine, but it was so heavy and clunky that it was difficult to get the stairs and it was just generally a pain to lug it from room to room.

It may not have as many nifty features as this Shark, but at least I know it will vacuum whatever is in its path.

I feel like it takes me 3 hours to resolve these each time and it is never easy. Suction drops and I basically have to use stop my cleaning and wash out the filter and wait for it to dry in two days . I feel like I'm at the point where I can't clean my house in a single session without cleaning my filter. I already dislike cleaning and I almost feel like I have PTSD with vacuuming because it never goes well so I put it off as long as possible and by then it's pretty bad which compounds everything

I even did my regular vacuuming and brushed with my rubber broom after and not too much came up! I also like using this on the tiles by the front door and in the kitchen and laundry room. it is very easy to switch from carpet to hardwood mode. it is also very easy to detach and use in the car or the other day I even cleaned all my filters for my heat/ac unit and my air purifier. and the handheld comes with an attachment to get into the corner of baseboards

I was looking at a Dyson V11 Absolute because its easy to clean, and wireless. And also the V11 is on sale for $699 CAD right now.

I have a Shark pro corded vacuum that I have had for 4 years. I absolutely love it, and I swear by it. After reading the reviews and with a BF sale, I thought this was the cordless vacuum I needed. After using it for 2 weeks, I determined the power was not at all what I was expecting

1, the switch why can it be held in or be a lockable switch? try to do some cleaning where you might use a flexible hose and the crevice tool? you have to keep one hand on the switch and try to stretch your other arm way way back behind say a desk or other object to try to get into places.. So you can only get as far as your 2 arms can reach while holding the power switch down. 2 This unit is way off balance I have lambert eaton syndrome and this puts the full weight right on my wrist
