I would look into returning it but we are beyond the 30 days. What will I do? Buy a Miele and use this one for the quick jobs. Now for the issues: The rating is a 3 primarily because we have a golden retriever and it is not optimal for longer fur animals though I think it would be fine for short hair dogs. The fur has gotten trapped in the small wheels that are adjacent to the silver roller with the orange bristles and has jammed them

As the title says, poor suction. I suppose that’s to be expected with a battery powered vacuum, but wow.

Easy and convenient to use, but at the end of every vacuuming the head drops a lot of debris. So light,and battery lasts, but this cannot suck like my Kirby. Good for dust maybe

0 AH it is light weight and very convenient not having to deal with a cord, LOL you will find your self cleaning places you would never have thought to have, The hose is i thought really nice to work with soft flexible rubber not the hard plastic hose but I am sure if you step on it, well it will shorten its life.

For about 10 years, we have used a Dyson Animal upright vac, which has been amazing at getting hair and dirt out of the carpets. The Dyson is an exceptional vacuum, but it's quite large, and heavy, and it's corded. We wanted to try a cord-free vacuum, and were impressed by the features and reviews for the Shark IONFlex 2x, so we gave it a try. There are good and bad points, when taken in consideration -

- The hose has nice locking lugs that secure it to the compartment with a twist. Now for the “not as good.” - Battery life on any of these types of cordless vacs is not great. You will be happier with the 4ah battery in this unit as apposed to the smaller 2ah that comes in a lot of the drill/driver combos

I’m not sure if it was a faulty one or if they just aren’t as good as they say they are but I would not buy this vacuum again. I’ve loved shark vacuums but this is a no go for me. Guess I’ll just have to dip more money into the less portable one…

Last but not least ran it over all the floor moldings. I was impressed with the amount of suction throughout the use. Emptying the dirt cup was a little wonky but now that I know what to do it's not bad. I would definitely recommend the second battery (ordered mine today) and I picked up the motorized pet tool to do the couches

It’s well built and well designed but I would gladly trade runtime for suction. Or have a two speed selector.

of carpet space is easy to cover on half a battery charge. We recommend getting additional filters so you can load one in while the washed one dries. If you have a lot of sq. footage you may want to consider getting an extra battery

I really like the suction, it sucked the dust out of my carpets in my RV. I do not like the fact that Battery was not sold with at that price. I love it! Change is hard and after years with a Dyson, I really was not interested in trying something new. My husband really wanted something where the battery could charge separately. Shark has been very thoughtful about their design. There are three attachments, but two of the attachments can transform into other attachments

Has a long nozzle and a flat nozzle. Didn't come with a brush nozzle but an inexpensive universal one fits perfectly. I have always hated vacs but love this one. Like the flat base that doesn't tip over like the silly little Shop Vac (designed by someone who's never used a vac)
