The motor has become VERY loud! Not cool! I have dropped my rating from 4 stars to 3 now. For a unit being used for normal household vacuuming it should last at least five years. A replacement motor is 52 bucks plus shipping an installation cost. Is it worth it? I am obviously not a happy camper now

Suction power does not compare at all with shark corded, and that is what I am gonna buy again, a corded shark. Also, using on the stronger suction mode ( definitely needed for carpet) will give you only 10 minutes running time. Maybe in a few years I will give it a shot again on the cordless, hopefully power and battery life will improve!!

It easily detaches and you can dump it right into your garbage with a little shake. It's nice that the HEPA filter is rinse-able, too, and shouldn't have to be replaced. How much are you saving on bags? Tons! The retractable cord was great engineering, as well. My not having to hold the cord while I vacuum is HUGE

It is easy to maneuver and flexes enough to get underneath the hard to get areas underneath furniture. There’s one really good option the Hoover T-Series/Tempo UH30301 $150. It’s a plain traditional upright but it does just about everything and has Hepa bags for good filtration. It’s not the best handling on hard floors but the brushroll shutoff won’t scatter or scratch. Parts are cheap and plentiful but use the Hoover Hepa bags because they filter best and will extend the life of the vacuum

Hepa filter is fantastic. The digital screen allows you to choose flooring type and strength of suction. Would highly recommend.

If I wanted something that would just spread my household dirt out more, I'd sweep. Update: It turns out that my disappointment was my own fault, as I failed to perform the relatively simple routine maintenance of cleaning the media filter. I have since done so, and now it's basically operating like new again. Even smart people need to remember to RTFM sometimes
