In fact, I'm so happy with the quality of the sound (which blows away my next nicest pair) that I'm already looking forward to finding something new. My setup is simple: Schiit Stack (Magni 3+ & Modi). I currently own: Audio Technica M50x (my first baby), Sennheiser HD 6XX, and the DT 1990s.

Great smooth detailed neutral sound, slightly uncomfortable, hinges creak
I had a pair of orig V6s back in the day and they eventually broke at the slider mount for the earpiece when I sat on them. These are prolly weak in the same way. Should otherwise be durable and long lived.

[Headphones] SONY WH1000XM3 Bluetooth Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones, Black WH-1000XM3/B (Renewed) - $149.99 (pretty sure all time low)
They really shine with audiobooks, studying/focus, and shows/movies. I usually prefer wired headphones like Sennheiser 6XX for music but for noise cancellation and the rich bass, these make an excellent wireless bluetooth option!! Focus/study will be improved for sure wearing them. No issues with any genres I can tell, better than most Bluetooth cans out there.

Natural sound -- Love them -- best sound stage I've experienced
Decided noise cancellation was only nice on an airplane, and I preferred wired, donl't have to turn on or charge. If you have eyeglasses or hearing aides like I do, these are perfact. Yes I have expensive Sony noise canceling blue tooth, but the HD5XX are just in a different class, use all day, gaming, general listening. Plugged directly into Gigabyte Z690 Master mobo, no need for a DAC/amp here

A great set of headphones
I spend about half my day talking to people, and the other half with my head down working. The trouble is, the people around me are in the same situation, and our quiet parts of the day are seldom aligned, plus we are all loud talkers, so my office is usually really noisy. The first two headsets I tried were earbud headsets. One set (Shure e2c) accomplished sound-isolation via earbuds composed of foam earplugs
