I have a secretlab, waste of 500$ for anyone reading this, BUY a ergonomic chair, not a fucking gaming chair they're all shit

My friends told me not to buy a gaming chair and they might have been right...

Pros: Chair overall is high quality. Assembly is very easy. The magnetic pillow stays put and is very comfortable. Seat is firm but not hard and conforms after a few days to your body

 I don't know if the first one was just defective or old stock from a previous revision but the replacement's foam is much softer and the lumbar support seems to actually move up and down where previously it felt as if it barely moved which I thought was just how it was designed. The stitching is also perfect. One defect is the threads in one of the mounting holes was damaged and took some effort to install. Everything else is good and the chair is more comfortable than it was before

 Maybe they will make design enhancements for the next version, but astounding that a chair, with such a high price tag, so well engineered in every other way was brought to market with such an obvious flaw.  Their packaging needs to be modified too as the base on the original chair protruded through the box and the finish was damaged. Replacement base was sent out, same exact issue. Third one was slightly through the box but damage was minimal and I gave up

Bought this to work from home, noticed the boxes were a little damaged

 Most customers do not get any response. The ones that do get a response, the company tells them it's not covered by warranty but offers a one-time replacement as a courtesy to the customer. They also say it's the customer's fault because the armrests are hitting the edges of the desk.  My armrests do not go under my desk, so that isn't the case for me

One of the armrests are tearing in an odd spot. I tried to email their support over the last 2 months with no response. I posted on their social media accounts with zero response.  Upon doing some research, it appears the tearing is a common issue

 They also say it's the customer's fault because the armrests are hitting the edges of the desk.  My armrests do not go under my desk, so that isn't the case for me.  Overpriced, overhyped product with zero customer service. Buyer beware!

I just can't imagine how comfortable that would be, and the second thing that would be really cool is that if they can simplify the sizes of their chairs, because now you have a small, regular and large it's kind of confusing if people are in between, so they Could have a chair that could adjust the height of the backs rest or the the seat depth, which is the more important part that would be super cool. So that's what i would like to see in the next version - and i know i'm asking for too much but like it's just that i don't know what else they could improve on at this point. Besides the things that i complained about in this video but anyways, i do think that the multiple sizes is a big hindrance to uh people choosing different chairs, because when people are looking for gaming chairs uh, they want the best

I received My Titan Evo 2022 at the beginning of August. Once I had built the chair together I realised that the gas lift was faulty and would stay in the lowest position with the chair weight alone. I contacted customer services which I would then get a reply every 48-56 hours, the first one saying that they don&#39;t think it is broken, next saying to send some proof in the form of a video, next to ask me if I can disassemble the chair with tools, WD40 etc! then saying that they will send out a new part when available. This has taken nearly a month of back and forth and the problem still isn&#39;t solved. After paying nearly £400 for a chair this is the worst and slowest customer service ever.
After I complained and asked to speak with a customer services manager, I finally get a reply 6 days later as follows:

Hi S****,

Thank you for your response. As per your request, your case was escalated to us and I will be taking over from now on.

I apologize for our agents did not inform you sooner but, as you replaced the original wheels on your chair, the warranty on your chair is now voided as per our warranty terms. Third-party wheels are not tested on our chairs and may affect the weight distribution of the chair, damaging it overtime.

I put a new set of rollerblade office chair wheels on the chair when I built it as these do not damage my wooden floor. The gas lift was faulty when the chair arrived. So rather than solve the issue they have instead studied the footage I sent them to find a reason to not support:

A) their customer
B) their product
or
C) their warranty.

I seriously feel the reputation of this company will go down hill very quickly, just read the negative responses on the web, they all sound familiar.

Now asking for a full refund which I’m sure they will make as difficult as possible.

Looking forward to the reply to this review which will state that they&#39;re sorry etc but this is just lip service.

A warning for those interested in Secretlab chairs… Avoid

 It has been a very solid chair for me. I sit in it for minimum three hours a day, sometimes eight nine hours a day, depending on what i'm doing and i've experienced no strange noises and i've actually noticed a lot on other videos that a lot of people also have not experienced any sort of weird Noises like that, that is something that i can't say about chairs that i've had in the past next question. I keep getting. How long did it take for me to get the chair from when i ordered it? I know i already said it earlier in the video it took me about a month to get it now be aware that that could be very different for other people, because i've had people reach out to me saying that they've waited two three months for the chair, But overall they give you a time on the websites and it's typically anywhere from three weeks to apparently three months for some people so be aware

 I think we'll still get some use out of this thing, but it's more gon na be probably uh kind of a neck rest type of deal, but i still think that it would be very comfortable for you. So i'd say if you were anywhere from like six. Two to maybe six five or six six, i think you'll be okay with this chair. It is by far the tallest chair that i have ever owned

 I warned everyone if you were purchasing this thinking that you were going to feel like you were sitting on a cloud that was not going to be the case and it definitely still isn't. This chair isn't gon na be for everyone, but if you like, a nice firm chair that feels pretty nice on your back and it feels quality, this chair is an excellent one for you, especially the xl version for the bigger guys out there like me or bigger Gals, but i do have to say that the butt cushion has slightly gotten softer, i'm talking like just a little bit it. It almost feels like it's formed specifically to me since i'm sitting in it every single day. Almost so yeah i don't know, i prefer a seat like this and i think it's pretty comfortable, not everyone will, but that's basically gon na, be the fact with any product out there, no matter what it is and before we wrap up this video, i did have Quite a few reoccurring comments on the original video asking certain questions and i thought we'd do like a little q a now where i'm going to read off some of the questions and just give you my personal answer on it

 The lumbar support is still working as it did day. One still feels really great on the back. I really haven't noticed any wear and tear on either of the armrests. They still look pretty solid on both sides

Secretlab TITAN XL 2021 Review! | Still Worth It 6 Months Later?

Finding an affordable chair with proper backrest as a 2,05m/6'9" tall person is difficult. Lumbar support usually is way too low. The Titan XL apparently is made for people up to 2,08m so I hope it's an improvement.

It’s worth every penny

I love the Herman Miller Aeron and the Embody but it is way out of my budget for now. (both would be about 1800 USD, which is 2-3x average wage here, sadly). I am in Eastern Europe so these kind of chairs don't have a used market at all. I have been watching lots of second-hand sites and I have not seen a single one pop up in 6 months

I've had my Titan XL for about 6 months now. Assembly was simple to follow. I like how it's a good sturdy solid chair with some weight. The seat itself it firm yet not uncomfortable
