The brush itself is of very good quality and it works great on hard wood floor with dog hair, which it should for the price.However be aware that when attached to the vacuum wand it DOES NOT have the necessary attachment that allows you to slide it into the holder on the Sebo vacuum for storage. I'm very surprised and disappointed that the German engineers did not think of it, if they had I would have rated it 5 stars.

  One issue with the SEBO in general is that the more you attach, the less suction you achieve because the motor is in the base and not the handle. Yet with the carpet attachment, it works fine on carpeting. The carpet attachment on hardwood, and now the hardwood attachment on hardwood, does absolutely nothing. I feel like we wasted a LOT of money buying this vacuum cleaner as now I will resort back to my $35 Eureka which does a much better job

 The curved part goes towards the turbine just like so and you can see where the opening is on there and you can see how small this opening is. So if you're doing a lot of things on a big stuff, turbines might not be for for that household. So now when we put this back together, there are two. so there's two washers and you will drop them so definitely don't be a putz like I was

 So everything snaps together. Now everything is snap together again, the washers are in place, it's time to put the screws back and they all apparently are the same. And if you've ever changed a car tire, that's kind of the way that you want to do this. So you want your go zigzag with the bolt pattern when you're tightening up these this sort of thing and we're just gonna put this in with the screwdriver real quick

 Nothing skipping Everything looks great. All that looks great. So now it's time to put this guy in. and I have seen so many people put these things in backwards over the years

The Henry would be the best bet, canisters can't be beat for getting under furniture. If you don't need the charcoal filter, a Henry HVR160 + Wessel Werk TK286 rug turbine + Wessel Werk PT 160 hand turbine would be ~$60 cheaper than the Petcare model.

We live in a ranch, so stairs aren't an issue, but I want something that can easily get around/under furniture. 

I was looking at stick vacuums but they seem to only excel at looking good on the wall. I'm debating between a canister or an upright and I think I have it narrowed down between a Henry PetCare or a Sebo Felix. Would one work better for my flooring or would it just be a price thing?

Help picking new vacuum

 Well, the reason the working vacuum gauge exists is actually to measure whether a turbo can be applied to a central vac or any other portable vacuum. So you get a measurement on this old canister over here, you're gonna see it's sealed Vacuum is actually pretty good. [Music] Working backings only about 30, which is still better than a lot of a queues that's ten more than something like a Kirby but it's just not going to power that tool. Now if I test my central vacuum, get that in French Now he does

 Now here is the true game changer. in terms of turbos. This is the newest one they've come out and Mila Is and Pneumatic. Henry are currently equipping us with some of their canister vacuums and the reason this was developed is in: Europe They have a wattage restriction so they've had to make these things work far more efficiently

 and again, Zero-g simply isn't powerful enough to really keep that turbo spun up. And this, this is exactly what most people think and why they will not choose them for cleaning carpet or area rugs because they're simply not powerful enough or so they didn't used to be. Now full disclosure: I Am at a mile above sea level and what that means is there is less air up here. We have less dense air, so turbos and cars would have to work harder and so would the turbo on a vacuum to spin it properly

 Everything else would seem to that some cat litter left. So yeah, that would not be maybe satisfactory. And that's the reason why a lot of people don't choose a turbo is because until recently it hasn't been a good option. and that's that's why I'm recommending this Vissel Ward turbo as it cleans very very well

Wessel Werk TK 286 STB305-3 Vacuum Cleaner Turbo Nozzle Review

Had to try to get an adapter to make it fit my 1 1/4 hose . . the turbine is great though, well designed, and easy to clean . 

Amazon goofed, the page says it is 1 1/4 inch neck, the one I received was 1 1/2 inch

Since you're on a budget, I'd suggest getting this Wessel Werk TK286 turbine nozzle for your Eureka Mighty Mite in the short term. It's the same underlying design used for Miele's STB-305 and SEBO's TT-C turbine nozzles, but this one's significantly cheaper since it doesn't use Miele or SEBO's semi-proprietary fittings.

Thinking about getting a new vacuum to upgrade from my Eureka Mighty Mite.  I'm not very firm between an upright or a canister, but am leaning strongly toward another canister for flexibility.  The biggest things I dislike about the might mite are the noise, prep of setting it up, and the lack of rotary head. But I can deal with the noise and setup if I can at least address the rotary head.

My home is primarily hardwood but I have several area rugs and a very sheddy cat.  It does fine on the wood portions but I feel like when I use the bare-floor nozzle on the Mite I have to essentially heavily scrub my rugs with it to get just some of the hair and junk up.  It turns vacuuming my modest apartment into a 1-2 hour chore easily. 

Is there a decent affordable canister out there with a rotary head? I am considering splurging on a Miele but would like to know if there are decent affordable alternatives first.  

I'm also not super clear on the reality of the difference between a motorized electric brush nozzle vs. the "turbine nozzle" that relies on air flow. Is a turbine nozzle actually decent enough to bother with?  (I'm guessing the miele stb-305 turboteq head is the turbine version).

The Miele C1 turbo is probably what I'd buy if I were to splurge but is there something equivalent in the 200 or less range?  Or, are there any particularly good used vacuum websites to check out? I don't mind buying a second hand one.

If you can find one within your budget, a used turbine Miele is a fine options as well. Just make sure it's been used with genuine bags and that the cord winder works fine.
