 This one is a bit simpler, so it has a lower difficulty. For this example, we are going to choose this card, which will give us 5 favorite tokens which we can use throughout the game. Now we have to deal 3 public objective cards for everyone to see for each game. These cards will indicate certain rules that we have to follow in order to win the score that is indicated here in this case for each row, without repeated colors, we will earn 6 points

 The first time we're going to place a die on our board. We must do it on either edge of the board. In this case, we will place it here. Then, every time we want to add another die to our board

 These are tool cards which are going to help us modify and bend the rules a bit in our favor to fulfill our pattern board over. Here we have favorite tokens. These tokens will help us in using the tool cards, and this is the bag that contains the color dies, we'll use to build our stained glass window. Here we have the score markers for each player

 Now that we know the restrictions and how to play a turn, we will see what can be done with these tool cards. This first card allows us to move a die from one place on our player board to another, ignoring the color restrictions of the pattern. This card says that when we choose a die, we can increase or decrease its value by 1, to match our pattern here. After a player's first turn they can choose another die skipping

You know uh, i don't know just like you were shooting your own foot, giving them up to take some ability that might or might not end up giving you more points at the end of the game right. Well, i think this helps alleviate that. So i like it, that's that's right out of the gate, the main thing i'll say i like this expansion, i think both of the both of the uh

 Instead of adding it to your window, you can go over here to this board and take one of these. So, for example, if i've got a green six here, i can choose to put it there if that's still empty and take this die or i can go here to green and take this one or i could even go to this one, because it's any color and Take that one there: okay, when you do that, you're also going to get some of the uh, the glass beads. If you do this, you get two two two two one here and none if you're on the last column there. So, for example, let's say i'm going to do uh this, i'm going to go there all right and i'm going to take my two beats and i'm going to take the matching die right here

 Give you new options. A new type of die that you can choose to add to your display. Give you a new opportunity from to to make victory points. Maybe lose victory points

 I love that because now you have more of those to take more actions and you don't feel as hindered by going. Oh i'm giving up my last one and there are no more well now there may be more right, so i like that, a lot about it and then the other one just having abilities in your hand that let you get out of a tight spot. I i like that you know i like the ability of having something hidden, something that your opponent doesn't know, because the only thing that was hidden really in the base game was what color you were scoring for, which became painfully apparent three rounds in right. So i like that about about this one, the the the feel of that a little mystery, a little more control over the special abilities always worth it

 If you play it right, you should be able to fill in every square. So, in all, the rules are pretty straightforward.  What gets complicated is the further into the rounds you get, you start to self limit placement options based on past decisions. Along with the just filing in the window, you have public and private challenges that will help you garner points at the end and determine the winner

 There are only a few three key rules: you must place a die next to an existing one, you can't place same colored die next to each other, neither the same number next to each other. There are 10 rounds of game play for you to fill up your window. If you play it right, you should be able to fill in every square. So, in all, the rules are pretty straightforward

 It makes you think and while there is a competitive aspect, all of that happens at the end. Game play is relatively peaceful and is fun to see how dice are placed.  I give this game 5 stars. Great family game, but probably more suited to ages 8 and up

Pretty fun "abstract" game

 You are the glasswright, and you have to place your glass within a pattern to earn the most points. There is not a lot play action between players. Instead, you want to design your frame before the allotted moves end.

 niece didn't really seem to care for it the first time but for the sake of humoring Auntie she said she would play again. Not sure what happened but she was hooked! 2 days later I was going back for another all night game night and she said, "Don't forget to bring Sagrada." What? We have really enjoyed it. In one week we have already had 3 game nights and you would think we had been playing this for years

 The window pane are problem magic if you have dexterity issues the die too small. And the space between where they sit is a pain to place the small die between two other dice.  Additional and most frustrating is part of the set requires sliding a pattern into the window pane our panes we're not properly manufactured and made it nearly impossible to insert a card into at least one window pane. It actually damaged the pattern card that was finally able to to get into pane

My wife and I received the the physical board game for Christmas and love playing it.  This digital version fails to capture the essence of the physical game.  Why does the main window use so many resources on my computer that it gets hot just rendering the opening page?  Why can I not see the tool cards during play to remember what it does?  Why is the window so different from the physical game?  game play is clunky at best.  I love the board game, but you so missed on the digital implementation

 The components themselves are also beautiful and high-quality, and I'm happy I bought it!

 I saw some people compare it to sudoku and from the once I played that game it seems like a reasonable comparison. But you basically roll a hand of dice and then draft them one at a time with other players to try to complete your stained glass window pattern using different numbers and colors of dice to follow rules that determine how you get points, which change every game (you draw a few cards that determine scoring at the start). For example it might give you a bonus for not repeating colors in rows, columns, etc. or extra points for every set of 1-6 numbers on your board

More fun than it sounds and very pretty

 If they make a revised edition with larger dice then I would purchase as gifts. As of now, I wouldn’t hurt because of the size it’s really more of a personal family choice if it’s appropriate for their household..

 There are 24 colorful dice in each pile, showing size comparison. Sagrada dice are about half the size of “regular” sized dice. The Stained-Glass Window game board is just a bit bigger than the size of my hand.)
