 Token they're gon na put the token in the center of the factory displays, and now they can do one of two things they can either take all matching tiles from one of the factory displays, in which case all the rest of the tiles go to the center Or they can take all matching tiles from the center and if there's a starting player token, they can take that as well. Once they've chosen their tiles, they have to choose one of their pattern lines to place. Those tiles in only tiles of the same type, can be in the same pattern line the ultimate goal being to fill up a pattern line entirely so that later on, one of those tiles can go in the corresponding space on their wall. The other tiles leftover will just go into the later of the box, never to be seen again until another game

 Do it all over again, if you do run out of tiles from the bag, when you're filling up the factory offers at the beginning of a round. Just take the tiles out of the lid of the box and place them back in here to recycle them at the end of wall tiling. If someone's completed a horizontal row, that's going to trigger the end of the game so after the end of scoring, then there's also additional bonus points that are scored. So each person will get two points for each horizontal row

How to play Azul in 4 Minutes

 I contacted the company online a week ago and have received absolutely no response. I sent them another email and received no response. At minimum, I expect a company to respond to communications.

Poor customer support - 6-month delay on replacing defective parts

Azul 4x3p, had a couple friends come over games, ended up playing Azul for 2 hours, which is great! Didn't track scores in my app until the final round though. Last round we flipped the board to make our own mosaic, it was pretty interesting in that you're trying to make your own strategy but can end up screwing yourself. I'd play it like that again

What Did You Play This Week? - (January 18, 2021)

Having played Azul with friends, we decided to buy it because it was so much fun.  We were really disappointed when we received Azul the first time because because the player boards were all ripped along the edges, and all the pieces felt like very cheap plastic, especially compared to when we played the game before with friends.  So we returned and exchanged the game. The new game arrived today and again the player boards are ripped around the edges, the box was crushed a little on the side, and very cheap pieces

 Some of the symbols were printed off-center on the small square pieces. We are not happy to get the same game twice in a row with cheap pieces and poor quality.  I contacted Amazon customer service, and they weren't willing to give us any type of refund on the game, unless I returned again. It's annoying to keep going back and forth to the post office to return items

he summons the best and brightest artists in the land to get to work brightening the place up

in Azul only one of you can cleverly draft to build the most impressive tile collection and become the master artists of Evora

the winner of this game is the player with the most points at the end

the game ends on the round any player finishes a horizontal row of tiles

competitive: Only one player can have the fanciest looking tiles in Portugal

Drafting: each turn players will draft tiles from a central pool

Tile laying:  this is literally a game about laying tiles

At the start of each round refill the factory displays with four random tiles drawn from the bag

on your turn you can claim all tiles of one type from one of the factories

the remaining tiles go into the middle of the play area

you can also claim all tiles of one type from the middle

the first player to do so claims the first
player marker for next turn

once you have claimed tiles on your turn you have to place them on your display

there are five possible rows you can place  tiles.

each row can only be used to hold one type of tile

as you claim more tiles place them alongside matching tiles

you want to collect as many as there are
spaces on the display and no more

once all selections have been made for a
round you need to check your display

if you have enough tiles to fill up a row.
