Typically this is what I'll have with me during the summer and then you know, early spring, late fall when the bugs are kind of dying off or if I'm gonna be in a place where there really isn't any water around. and I don't have to worry about a whole bunch of a whole bunch of bugs flying around.  I do prefer the lotion because it stays on longer. it's easier to apply, but picaridin also comes in a spray and it is dere safe so this repellent will not damage artificial or man-made fibers. Overall, it's been one of the best that I've used. I'd say it is probably the best and it's the one I most often bring with me but it works where the the lemon of eucalyptus worked and you know, low Bug densities
