 I can't register the warranty without it.  I've called Saris many times (customer support is only available 10-3 M-F). I am placed in queue while a recorded message tells me over and over how important my call is to them (ha!), and I am automatically disconnected after ten minutes. I have tried emailing customer support but again, NO REPLY

  But in order to register the warranty, I need to enter a "Date Code", which is supposed to be printed on the box. It is nowhere to be found, on or in the box. I can't register the warranty without it.  I've called Saris many times (customer support is only available 10-3 M-F)

  Update. It took a few weeks to speak with Saris, but it sounds like it was bad bearing. They have sent out a replacement unit. Not happy with the original quality, but happy with customer service

Peloton has quickly grown into one of the most recognizable names in home fitness, and after testing the Peloton Bike+, we can tell you that it's more than just hype. While it is structurally nearly identical to the original Bike, the Bike+ has had some minor cosmetic changes, and it now comes with an upgraded 23.8-inch swiveling HD touchscreen, better speakers, improved connectivity, Auto-Follow automatic resistance changes, and more. These changes have also resulted in a significant increase in price, but thankfully that includes free delivery and professional assembly. The bike itself is very sleek and streamlined, with 100 levels of nearly silent magnetic resistance and ample range for riders of all fitness levels. The screen is bright, has excellent resolution, and integrates seamlessly with the Peloton app which is really the highlight of the Bike+. Peloton has done an amazing job of developing their app, with live classes daily, thousands of on-demand studio classes of all types, lengths, music genres, etc, and the best instructors in the business. After using the app during testing, we learned firsthand why Peloton and their instructors have such a devoted following and large user community. The new Auto-Follow resistance option will also change the resistance for you based on the instructor's prompts, or you can still adjust it manually using the resistance knob.  It felt sturdy and I could definitely tell that Peloton paid attention to the details. I've tried a ton of bikes for my apartment, gym and cycling classes like Soulcycle and this is up on another level. The large monitor that comes attached with the bike was also pretty impressive with its large 21 inch size and touchscreen capabilities. You could tell they intended for this bike to be a premium level bike

But that could be said for any home exercise equipment. The bigger draw with Peloton was the built-in competitive element of it: seeing that leaderboard somehow did make me pedal harder. And despite being alone in my living room, it effectively simulated a “real” cycling class, for lack of a better description. I’ve always liked group sports or races for the intangible energy that’s generated from a bunch of people all trying to achieve the same physical thing, and I was skeptical that Peloton could provide that

 It’s nicely constructed and, at 135 pounds, so heavy that I needed help moving the bike around my apartment. This is not something you assemble at home, either. It requires in-home delivery, a process I went through twice because the first Peloton that was delivered physically locked up when I started riding it. The second unit’s pedals worked like they were supposed to

 So the handlebar design is also really ergonomic and nice. It's a bullhorn design. I really like that there's a lot of grip area, so you really do have a ton of options. The grip is not gritty, it feels smooth, but it still provides a nice grip for you

 We bought this bike ourselves and we pay monthly for the service as well. and I will say we've been very happy with the Peloton bike. It's held up very well over the year. It's still super smooth, so it is a very good, albeit overpriced piece of equipment

I’ve seen several posts in the last couple days where someone just getting into cycling asks a frustrated question about their rate of improvement and how it’s affecting their love for this sport and someone else share’s Greg’s quote “It never gets easier; you just go faster.”  I just want to clarify to the new and frustrated riders that if continually going faster is not your goal, it does get easier and your hard work will definitely pay off.  It’s hard for anyone on a bike just getting into it, but after a while you’ll find that the miles do get easier.  I definitely wouldn’t have kept riding if I had to suffer every time I touched my bike like I did just starting out.
