The best 60-inch TV that we've tested is the Samsung QN60Q60BAFXZA. It's the entry-level model in Samsung's 2022 QLED lineup, so it's not as feature-rich as the higher-end models and has worse picture quality, but it's the only available in a 60-inch size. Regardless, the Q60B comes with the same easy-to-use Tizen smart platform as the more expensive models, and it has a great selection of apps available to download, so you don't have to worry about buying an external streaming device to watch your favorite shows. The included remote also has a built-in mic you can use for voice control with Bixby, Alexa, and Google Assistant to search for content.

In terms of picture quality, it's a good choice for bright and dark rooms. Great TV for the money, but watch for a pink screen

  One complaint on this is that some of the smart features are not excellent.  For example, on the remote, there are several buttons to open up Netflix/Prime/Disney+ etc. but there's no way to change where those buttons lead. So for someone like me, who uses Hulu more often than anything else, the only other direct option is to use the microphone, which frequently misunderstands me- as most voice activated things do

The Vizio M58Q7-J01 is the best 58 inch TV for gaming. It's great for gaming because it has a few extra features, and it also performs well in dark rooms if you tend to game in a dark environment. It's also a budget-friendly TV, meaning it won't break the bank either. We tested the 55 inch model, and our results are also valid for the 58 inch variant.

It has a 60Hz panel and HDMI 2.0 bandwidth, so although you can't play the latest games in 4k @ 120Hz, you won't have any issues with 4k @ 60Hz games. While you get similar picture quality to the Samsung, it has a worse smart system that can feel laggy at times, and you can't download any extra apps besides the pre-installed ones, so this is the trade-off you have to make for getting something for less. Still, it's a good TV with a few extra gaming features if you're a gamer.

The accuracy before calibration is excellent, as colors look great, so you don't have to pay extra to get it calibrated, and it displays a wide range of colors in HDR. It has a fantastic native contrast ratio, so blacks are deep and uniform if you're in a dark room, and bright highlights stand out with very little blooming. There's a local dimming feature that's designed to improve contrast, but it's mediocre overall.
