The best TV for watching movies in a small space is the Samsung QN43QN90AAFXZA. Unlike most TVs on this list, it's available in sizes as small as 43 inches and as large as 98 inches, so there's a model for any viewing environment. It's an excellent TV for watching movies in a dark room. It has one of the best local dimming features on the market, which results in incredibly high contrast with local dimming, so blacks are deep and uniform in a dark room.

It also gets incredibly bright, especially in HDR. Combined with its great local dimming feature, bright highlights in HDR stand out incredibly well. It has an excellent wide color gamut, so movies look vivid and lifelike. It upscales lower-resolution content well, which is great if you have a collection of movies on DVD, and the smart interface has a great selection of apps, so you can easily find your favorite streaming services.

Sadly, due to its relatively quick response time, there's some noticeable stutter in slow-panning shots in movies. There are a few features that can reduce stutter, including motion interpolation, but this introduces other issues, so it's not a perfect solution. Overall, the QN90A is an excellent TV.

Gaming features are one of the QN90A's strong points. All four of its HDMI inputs are compatible with variable refresh rate, including AMD's FreeSync and standard VRR formats, as well as ALLM (aka Auto Game Mode), which lets it automatically switch to game mode to reduce input lag when it detects you're playing a game.  This issue in Dynamic mode isn't a huge deal for me, however, because I don't recommend using that mode anyway.Samsung's light-rejecting screen is the best in the business, maintaining contrast and punch in bright lighting, and reducing reflections, better than the Vizio and the LG. The screen, combined with the QN90A's prodigious light output, make it the best TV I've ever tested for bright rooms.      The Samsung's screen was excellent at rejecting reflections

 And like most TVs, you can also pair the QN90A with separate Alexa or Google speakers.Samsung's health app debuted on its TVs in 2020&nbsp;and this year it's expanding to offer guided personal training. Plug in an optional webcam (Samsung has a list of recommended cameras, all by Logitech) and the app will track your exercises and give you coaching complete with celebrity personal trainers like Jillian Michaels.You can also use that webcam for video chat with the Google Duo app, which allows up to 12 others to join the chat

Samsung's remote is one of my favorites to use, with minimal buttons and just the right feel in-hand. Channel and volume keys click up and down, Ambient mode gets its own button as does the mic for voice and even the Netflix and Amazon app shortcut keys are nicer than on other remotes: They lack garish colors and instead just match the rest of the wand.Ambient mode is designed to show stuff on the screen when you're not watching TV. It's a cool feature if you don't like the big black rectangle of an inert TV and can display your photos, designer art, the weather, headlines and even adjust backgrounds to match your wall

Samsung QN90A series (2021) QLED TV review: Closer than ever to OLED

 I was able to navigate the setup fairly easy with the remote but in actually controlling the tv in daily use, I had to later visit the E-manual for more specifics. It is a smallish remote that fits well in your hand as opposed to the big clunky ones we've all had for years, with a button for every function. This remote has some buttons that have multiple uses. The saving grace, if there is one, is the fact that many things can be achieved through accessing of the onscreen Home display using the remotes "home button"

 I read many reviews on various brands and models of TVs of this size, Sony, Sony Bravia, LG, TCL, Samsung, Vizio, etc. I also compared features and specifications on the models as I began to narrow my search. I also visited the Samsung wesite to research this particular television. I am not going to go into a bunch of details as you can and should do your own research and comparisons

 It has a solar charging panel on the back and also can use a usb charger like a cell phone (charger not included). It does seem to last quite well without having to be recharged.

  This "SMART" TV is like a whiny child with all of the 3rd party clutter. Always needing something or requiring you to search through oddly named menus to do even the simplest things.  If you are just looking to turn a TV on and just watch it. You'll probably be as frustrated as I was with the home screen

 I'm sure SAMSUNG wants us to see the adverts (Why does a TV cost this much when it's being used as a billboard for SAMSUNG client Adverts?) so if you get one of these they don't make turning the Home Screen off intuitive. YouTube has several others who feel as I do about the Home Screen who can show you how to turn this brain melting clutter off. I probably should wait a bit before I type this out. But my frustrations are fresh, so here we go.  For the price, I'm not happy.  No Digital Sound Output from the TV: Setup and connected sound bar via fiber

 One for the Splitter and now I have to use the sound bar remote for volume. I was really hoping I could just use the TV remote as advertised. Oh well.  btw, I HATE the home screen, stays on forever when you turn the TV on

 I haven't even bothered to hook it up to the old Hifi system yet.  The OS/menu system is awful. I haven't figured out if it is possible to delete or rearrange the app list. There doesn't seem to be support for a mouse cursor though the manual claims that mice are supported

The best 60-inch TV that we've tested is the Samsung QN60Q60BAFXZA. It's the entry-level model in Samsung's 2022 QLED lineup, so it's not as feature-rich as the higher-end models and has worse picture quality, but it's the only available in a 60-inch size. Regardless, the Q60B comes with the same easy-to-use Tizen smart platform as the more expensive models, and it has a great selection of apps available to download, so you don't have to worry about buying an external streaming device to watch your favorite shows. The included remote also has a built-in mic you can use for voice control with Bixby, Alexa, and Google Assistant to search for content.

In terms of picture quality, it's a good choice for bright and dark rooms. It gets bright enough to fight glare and has decent reflection handling, so it's a good choice for rooms with a few lights around, but it has a narrow viewing angle that makes the image looks washed out from the sides. Although it lacks a local dimming feature, it still displays deep blacks in dark rooms, and there's minimal blooming around bright objects, making it a decent choice for watching movies.

 How do I get printed instructions for the remote? Like, MUTE, STOP a video, PAUSE a video, and so many more. Also, the volume control is difficult to operate - just the TV volume control from my cable box is very poor. If something is playing thru streaming, it can be very loud. What gives? I need help from Samsung

 However, this TV remote/pilot is quite annoying. It has minimum options to control, and it is difficult to use in a dark room (its buttons are not lit). Also, the Tv software/program annoyingly wants you to go on the internet and purchase/join some networks/providers. For my, using the cable provider, Spectrum, it is unnecessary policy of the Samsung

Great TV for the money, but watch for a pink screen

  One complaint on this is that some of the smart features are not excellent.  For example, on the remote, there are several buttons to open up Netflix/Prime/Disney+ etc. but there's no way to change where those buttons lead. So for someone like me, who uses Hulu more often than anything else, the only other direct option is to use the microphone, which frequently misunderstands me- as most voice activated things do
