If you don't want to spend as much on a cordless stick vacuum for handling pet hair, the Samsung Jet 70 Pet is a good alternative. It lacks the Dyson V15 Detect's built-in particle sensor and automatic suction power adjustment capability, but it doesn't cost nearly as much. Pet hair-cleaning performance is exceptional on bare floors as well as low and high-pile carpet. Its floorhead has an easily removable brushroll, allowing you to quickly cut away any tangled hair

While it also cleans small and large debris from bare floors outstandingly well, it struggles more with smaller debris on carpet but it still does a great job on these surfaces overall. This vacuum also has excellent maneuverability, making it easy to clean under tables or to clean car seats. As it's fairly easy to maintain, and as long as each of its parts is cleaned according to their respective maintenance needs, recurring costs are low. That being said, it has a small dirt compartment that needs frequent emptying and some users may find the included tools and brushes limiting

Unfortunately, while its maximum runtime of roughly 50 minutes isn't unusually short for a vacuum of this type, you can drain this vacuum's battery in a little over five minutes when using it in its strongest 'MAX' mode, so you need to work quickly when vacuuming stubborn debris.

I have a Shark pro corded vacuum that I have had for 4 years. I absolutely love it, and I swear by it. After reading the reviews and with a BF sale, I thought this was the cordless vacuum I needed. After using it for 2 weeks, I determined the power was not at all what I was expecting

However, it does do a similarly fantastic job of handling long hair on a wide variety of surfaces. You can also easily remove the brushroll in its floorhead to cut away any tangled hair. This vacuum's five-layer filtration system, which includes an onboard HEPA filter, helps it capture fine allergens as you clean. It's also lightweight and can be easily reconfigured as a handheld vacuum to clean small areas

I like my Samsung stick vac it is very light and easy to use and maneuver. It works amazing on my tile and hardwood floors. It cleans quickly end easily and is so much better than sweeping. It's also great and lightweight for stairs

I even did my regular vacuuming and brushed with my rubber broom after and not too much came up! I also like using this on the tiles by the front door and in the kitchen and laundry room. it is very easy to switch from carpet to hardwood mode. it is also very easy to detach and use in the car or the other day I even cleaned all my filters for my heat/ac unit and my air purifier. and the handheld comes with an attachment to get into the corner of baseboards

I like the vacuum it’s light weight and has good suction for pet hair! I don’t like the way it drags pet hair under the bottom and gets back on the floor once you have a good pile of hair and the battery life could be better for the price!

It may not have as many nifty features as this Shark, but at least I know it will vacuum whatever is in its path.
