 I doubt you will be gaining much in performance over the q950 to justify the newly released price. Also the display on the 900/950 being on top was a big nuisance to users. The 990 does have it on the front, but again, does that really justify the price.

Should I wait for SS Q990B instead of buying Q950A ?

 There is a lack of information within the manual on different setup methods. The WiFi link drops in and out and there is a distinct , intermittnet lag. Sound quality is great though. Overall a very frustrating product

 This is only available on select samsung tvs, i'd still highly suggest, you use an hdmi cable. If you can, as that'll give you an uncompressed signal which has more detail in it. I see the wireless capability being used by a smaller group of people, but it's a great step forward in getting full uncompressed atmos wirelessly in the coming years. Sound bars are all about getting great sound from a small package with less wise than a home theater and in the future i do see them only requiring a power cable to work and then eventually getting the power to be wireless too

 What'S with these crazy model numbers anyway, the most obvious addition is the center upward firing driver that seeks to give you an increased dialogue. Clarity, they've increased the drivers from a 7.1.4 to a 9

1.5 with the rear speakers getting an extra driver each for better placement in small rooms, you'll notice, the weird shape of those surrounds and that's to give a 135 degree beam of sound. So if you need to place them a little off angle, it'll still give you good rear coverage. That'S the theory, but we'll have to give that a good test

The bass on this is smooth and deep. You can tell the team at Samsung spent some decent time working on this product to provide an affordable quality unit for the masses.

But definitely glad we went with this. Not only are we still getting that crisp surround sound experience, it’s all coming from less physical speakers and no more messy cables!

While the very low price of the Vizio V-Series 2.1 Home Theater Sound Bar V21-H8 had us momentarily questioning our ears, we can assure you this soundbar sounds better than several more expensive competitors, while offering a dearth of useful features and presets. There is a powerful subwoofer that Vizio recommends placing next to or behind the audience, where increased proximity to the rumbly bass makes for an exciting experience. Dialogue enhancement and night mode also make for a great viewing experience at lower volumes.
Though this model is solid for the price point, it can't hold a candle to the higher-end model in terms of overall sound quality. While powerful, the bass can sound muddy and overwhelm the rest of the mix. When we did turn the bass down, the weak mids and sometimes harsh treble became more apparent. This isn't too much of a problem when watching action films at high volumes, but it makes for a poor experience when using the soundbar to listen to music. Still, this soundbar is a monumental improvement over any built-in TV speakers, and if your bank account can't absorb a high-end sound system to pair with your newly acquired flat screen, the Vizio V-Series 2.1 Home Theater Sound Bar is a very solid option.
