This is the most smoothest, lightest layer on a screen that I have experienced. My fingers literally slide off the screen.

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. Apart from the sticker on the screen, I noticed (and was relieved)  that there was another well stuck plastic screen protector already applied on the screen out of the box.

On T-Mobile, things got interesting. T-Mobile's network forced my S21 into "standalone 5G" mode. Most 5G connections in the US right now are at least half 4G. Standalone 5G, which eschews 4G, gives you lower latency and less chance of overloaded networks in crowded conditions, but you end up with slower overall speeds because you're losing the add-on 4G components

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Review

Really love the size and screen in the 21, as well as the overall industrial design. One UI isn't particularly offensive but I what I do notice is that I don't get the app hangups like I was experiencing with the 6T. I think I'm going to be quite happy with this phone for awhile.

I've had this phone for 3 months and it's slow, notes keeps locking up and shuffling my notes around. I own a small company and use the Samsung notes for lists, quotes, everything I need to keep track of and now I wanna smash this phone. I'll have an hour into quoting a job or making an invoice and it'll delay 4 seconds before typing my key strokesand then just shuffle.the page around

Started good, 3 months later waste of money

I use the phone with a fabric case but the general back design is really great BUT i would love if google could come up with a classic panda version, but as we seen on the subreddit we have a lot of skin options to make it as such.

 I would love it if someone could explain why pixel devices take 3 days to get optimized for battery what is happening in the background ect. But now with average 8h SOT and with no overheating appart from the time i charge it im fully happy with the battery life.

The screen is amazing AMOLED the colors are incredible and the brightness is way better than the pixel 4 xl i used to rock. Also i love the uniform look and the hole punch , on hdr 4k videos on youtube its just perfection tbh with 120 hz that optimized give better battery its just amazing to look at. I was on the fence because of the curved edges BUT the smoothness and the steapness of the curve actually made me to not notice them that much.

 The phone was getting overheated and the battery was 4h to 5h. But as im used to pixel devices (i owned pixel 2xl ,pixel 3axl ,pixel 4 xl and now pixel 6 pro ) i just continued with my normal use everyday and trusted that this will change well after the 4th day the battery is excellent i get 8h to 10h SOT and that is with 120hz enabled and always internet connected most of the day watching tiktoks and browsing subreddits instagram, messenger and video calls. Now lets go to the battery. So the first day that i got it i did the 0-100 charging but the first 2 to 3 days the battery WAS NOT good at all. The phone was getting overheated and the battery was 4h to 5h. To those screen spec downgrades, I say this: whatever. Samsung is consistently great at making screens, and even though the S21 doesn’t showcase the company at its best, it’s still a great display.

On a basic level, prioritizing the processor means the S21 is a very fast phone with decent battery life. I am able to get through a full day with moderate to heavy use on the 4,000mAh battery, though with a little effort, I can drain it down. The bigger Galaxy S21 Plus — which I haven’t tested — has a 4,800mAh battery and presumably will last even longer despite its slightly larger screen. Both share the same resolution and features otherwise

To go along with the priority you can’t see, Samsung’s other big change is the thing you can: the design. As with the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the regular Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus have metal rails that flow into the camera bump on the back. It looks as good here as it does on the Ultra. 

The processor is updated. The rest? Not so much.

"Glasstic" is not at all premium feeling or a good replacement for glass. Seen plenty of reviews saying it doesn't feel cheap. It does, it feels like tacky plastic, the whole phone also feels lighter because of it. This might be a plus for you, felt a bit too light and cheap for me though

Why would my clock get behind when the device is connected to the Internet?

I was browsing the Internet on Kindle Fire (which is Android-based) yesterday when I noticed that the device's clock was four minutes behind the clock on my Apple iPad.  So, I did a web search on the time, it turns out the iPad was correct, and the Fire was four minutes slower than the time returned by the web search.  Very strange.  It fixed itself after I re-started the Kindle Fire.  However, I don't understand how this could happen when my Kindle Fire stays connected to the internet all the time.

So long android. It's been a good run. ❤️ I've been here since my Droid Charge in 2011. While most of the the people in my life have had the iphone I laughed as apple got rid of all the good features. Now with flagship Android phones no longer coming with headphone jacks, SD card slots, and ir blasters I'm simply done. I know I could get some obscure Chinese android that has these but I'm just over it, I'm over having green text message bubbles in group chats, I'm over not being able to facetime anyone. Theres nothing I use android for these days that I can't do on iphone, aside from emulation. Idgaf about customization anymore. I'll keep my lg v30 around as a glorified ipod touch. I know "apple bad" and I don't agree with a lot of their business decisions but I'm very excited for my 13 pro :)

Torn on whether to just get an iPhone 13 to make things interesting (possibly frustrating due to limitations) since every fucking manufacturer follows whatever shit decision they make anyway yet Apple has better versions of apps and decent quality/support. Besides, if I don't like it I can sell or even trade it for a lot, meanwhile Android phones continue to be worth shit after a year or two.

The Pixel lineup is limited to a very small number of countries so for those who would want to experience Material You that don’t have access to google’s phones would be out of luck. Hopefully some companies can adopt the new theme and put their own twist on it, but from the looks of things, one of the big boys in the phone industry like Samsung aren’t really picking it up. Hopefully since the beta rollout is still pretty fresh it means they can add and change more aspects as they go but from what I’ve seen, Android 12 seems to just be another ordinary update if you’re not a Pixel owner

Why the fuck is android printing such a fuckin mess? I am on a samsung device and I simply cant print via wifi or wifi direct to an HP printer (Office Laserprinter).

I don't get why Google is allowed to release unstable versions of Play Store /Play Services /Webview. Every 2 months, they release an update that my s21+ absolutely hate and causes all the apps to randomly start crashing. Either Google needs to get their s**t together, or companies need to stop relying so heavily on Google for background processes.

Received a brand new Galaxy S21 5G today, have been pretty eager for it to arrive for the past week or so.

Lasted an hour, back in the box, sent back.
Sticking with my S10e running Pixel ROM for the time being. 

The 120hz display is alright, quality-wise nothing amazing. 
Device froze during first time setup and wouldn't let me past the WiFi screen. This happened twice in a row, on the third boot it went through fine.

"Glasstic" is not at all premium feeling or a good replacement for glass. Seen plenty of reviews saying it doesn't feel cheap. It does, it feels like tacky plastic, the whole phone also feels lighter because of it. This might be a plus for you, felt a bit too light and cheap for me though.

OneUI is still a cluttered and bloated mess, for a new flagship I did not expect to see stutters in the UI, but here we are. 

Despite all I was looking forward to, I was very underwhelmed. Still don't understand the hype for Samsung devices, by far the worst Android skin of the major manufacturers, hardware often feels cheap and average.

Constant pushing of Samsung apps or similar bloat, right from first setup.
Why is Netflix and Facebook preinstalled but not a bloody calculator???

All the S21 has served for me is to remind me not to buy another Samsung.

I logged into my spouse's Google account on my Pixel 5a and it synced all of their contacts to my phone app. There's no option to mass delete from the phone app (I unsynced contacts in the contacts app) so I'm having to manually delete hundreds of contacts.

I've tried googling, but it only comes up with how to delete contacts in the contacts app, which isn't my problem.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there actually a way to delete all of these contacts out of my phone app at over instead of having to go through one by one?

<p>1) Please do not target any individuals or try to name/shame any individual. If you hate Google/Samsung/HTC etc. for one thing that is fine, but do not be rude to an individual app developer.</p>

<p>2) If you have a suggestion to solve another user&#39;s issue, please leave a comment but be sure it&#39;s constructive! We do not want any flame-wars.  </p>

<p>3) Be respectful of other&#39;s opinions. Even if you feel that somebody is &quot;wrong&quot; you don&#39;t have to go out of your way to prove them wrong. Disagree politely, and move on.</p>
