 Hi skiers, Allie here from SkiEssentials.com with our 2022 ski test. In front of me I have

 Salomon's QST Lux, which is their 92 waist width all-mountain ski in that QST lineup.

 They have a men's and a women's version of this ski. They are identical. They just have different

 top sheets and different size runs. So if you don't find the size you like in the women's,

 you can always look at the men's. Same with the top sheet. If you like a green top sheet rather

 than a nice purple maroon top sheet, you can also check out the men's.

 Shape wise, this is really geared towards an all-mountain skier. It kind of goes anywhere. 92 waist

 is really great for just about any conditions. It's got a nice tip rocker and tail rocker that's

 going to allow you to float through the crud, but with that 92 waist you're going to be able to also

 carve a turn and keep it on edge when you want. So if you want to just have this for the resort,

 you're going to be able to hit that powder day, that crud day, and even just that ice day on this ski.

 Solomon uses some really fun technology in this ski. They use a carbon CFX weave, which is

 basically a carbon and flax weave. The carbon is going to allow it to have energy and pop.

 It really makes it responsive under your feet and that flax is going to dampen the ride and make it

 smoother and a little bit more stable. They also add cork into the tips and tails, which also makes

 it a smoother ride. It dampens those turns, it lightens up the tips and the tails, and allows

 you to maneuver the ski. I was very surprised with how actually stiff this ski is compared to

 metal skis. It kind of has a similar stiffness to a full metal ski, but it's super light and also

 very much more approachable than a full metal ski. It's not going to be as fatiguing under your legs

 after a long day. As I said, you can ski this all day and have fun. Hop into the woods, powder,

 carve up your turns, chase your kids down the hill. You're going to have fun. I even put a

 Solomon Shift binding on it and use it for my uphill ski because I wanted something a little
