Roku’s latest streaming device, the Streaming
Stick 4K might have landed in that perfect

sweet spot when it comes to price, portability,
and performance.

But to really determine if that’s true or
not, we had to spend some time living with

the new device as our everyday, go-to streamer.

Roku sent over a review unit for us to check
out ahead of the device’s official launch

and so we’ve been putting it through its
paces.

And as always we often say with our reviews:

So, with that being said, does Roku’s new
$49.99 option have what it takes to distinguish

itself from the cheaper, but similar Express
4K+ and the higher-end, but more expensive

This is the Cord Cutters News Review of the
Roku Streaming Stick 4K.

So let’s talk about what this new Streaming
Stick brings to the table in terms of hardware

Which means it’s time for a handy chart.

On your screen right now are some of the key
specs and details for Roku’s latest streaming

And as you can see, we’re dealing with an
ARM Cortex A55 CPU.

Now that’s similar to the CPU you’ll find
in other current Roku offerings, including

the Express 4K and 4K+, which we reviewed
earlier in the year, as well as the top-of-line

To be clear, though, it’s not quite the
exact same setup as a Roku Ultra.

That higher-end device still boasts 2GB of
