We’ve had the Roborock S7 for 7 weeks on our main floor which is all hardwood and a few area rugs. I’m currently trial running several auto-empty vacs for our upstairs which has our 4 bedrooms and all carpet. Currently a few weeks into the Roomba S9+ with empty bin and let me just say… while it does a good job picking up on our low rise carpet, the app and technology feels about 5 years behind the Roborock tech and app. If anyone cares about specifics feel free to ask but I’m constantly surprised how poor the app and tech work

She is much happier with the Lindhaus, notes that it "just cleans better", and has not had to do any work on hers either (she had to replace the belts on her Oreck regularly). The Lindhaus weighs about 5lbs more than her Oreck, the only disadvantage. These vacuums cost more than the average vacuum, but less than the high-end types. It was more than I had originally imagined I would spend on a vacuum (x2), but I am happy I took the plunge

Back in 2002 it was sold primarily to hospitals where they needed that extraordinary cleaning as well as the HEPA filter. They didn’t even advertise it. It was made for heavy duty industry (so no wonder it works so well in my home). I just now came to Amazon to order bags and was surprised to see that it is now sold on Amazon

This thing vacuums so much faster and better than the irobot and the mopping feature is amazing compared to the braava m6. It mops and scrubs stains the m6 couldn't in a faster time.

Waiting for this thing to break down which probably won’t be a long time from now so I can purchase a upgraded eufy. Roborock suction isint that great either. I recently ordered a replacement battery for my eufy because the Roborock wasn’t doing a good job and put them to work at the same time for the same amount of time and looked at which one collected more dirt and take a wild guess which one did it better. Yep the less then $200 4 year old eufy

It is a bit on the heavy side but that's because it has two motors, a vac and beater bar motor (most have a single motor like the Oreck). It vacuums better then anything I've ever used (and I have had a collection over the years). We had a cheaper vac (Panasonic) it was good but lasted about 5 yrs. The Lindhaus is well worth the investment

This is not true. If you want your Roborock S7 to perform multiple passes in some or all rooms, YOU will have to do so manually in the app. This is not something that can be done via the Schedule-Menu as of 2022-03-22. Bin design is SMALL: if you have the auto-empty base it will not matter, but if you buy this as a stand-alone unit you will notice the need to empty it

We had this vacuum cleaner for a little over six years, had to replace many parts on it and in the process found that it suffers from a number of engineering and design flaws that resulted in the mentioned repairs. The Roborock S7 has exceeded my expectations plus some! I went from sweeping everyday to about once a week. The mopping function leaves a bit to be desired but thats expected. Overall, this vacuum does what it’s meant to do which is make my life easier. I select which rooms I want cleaned and it does the rest
