I traded the shoulder pouches and bottom pocket for sturdier alu stays and Ultra Fabric instead of Ecopak. At around the same price point of 340€, taxes (located in EU) and shipping included, I think with the longevity of Ultra 200, it's just a better value than an Atom+ . As I wanted a white pack, the color options at Atom did not appeal to me too much. I added the hip pockets for ditty stuff I want accessible walking as well as snacks

The short version; This is a terrific vacuum. My floors have never been cleaner. I am very satisfied with my purchase and could confidently recommend it. I really feel bad for giving it only 3 stars, however, a few minor issues detract from making it the perfect product

I don't think I'd want anyone else operating this thing in my home, only because I wouldn't want them seeing the dirt being pulled out. Where is all this coming from? - Long battery life. This unit has been out for as much as 95 minutes a run and I still don't think I've seen the battery life drop below 40%. That gives me a lot of confidence as to how long it can last given the normal decline in battery life as things age

A week or so ago it received another firmware update. Great value for the price paid.

I'm looking for a budget option. The E4 with the mop function was $240 in total, and the Mi Mop P is $320 in total. Originally I was looking for an option that would cost $250 or less, so the Mi Mop P is stretching the budget in regards to what I am actually willing to spend, but I'm figuring the extra money will be well spent in the long run.

So here is my issue... I think this is a great vacuum if you have absolutely zero thresholds

The best robot vacuum for carpet that we've tested in the budget category is the Roborock E4. Unusually for a vacuum in this price bracket, it has a surface detection system that lets it automatically increase its suction power on carpeted floors. It also does a fantastic job dealing with pat hair on low and high-pile carpets, though it might still need to make one or two extra passes to collect everything.

It has been reliable and easy to use. - It does a great job of mapping the house and generally runs in a logical way. - One of my favorite parts is that this is a modular design and can EASILY be repaired by anybody of any skill level. For an expensive investment, this was important to me knowing that I can keep it running for years into the future

I've been using the vacuum daily for a couple of weeks now, I love how it knows when it's on carpet and increases the vacuum suction and then reduces on hard floors. You can change the vacuum on the app 3 different levels. Very easy to work with. Totally vaule for the price

I would give it 5 stars if there were a better solution for the sensors, like designing the sensor area to accept a clip on block that does what the tape does but is more permanent. The tape works well but is still wonky.

I’d say the X-E4 with a grip/handle should fit the bill - rangefinder feel and improved ergonomics with the option to swap out lenses to cover the very varied grounds you mention.

The filter is washable, but we found with the e4 it takes forever to dry. The solution to this is just buying a second filter and swapping them when one needs to be cleaned. Easy peasy. The map function works great, dividing/separating rooms is easy

Cleaning out the filter is also super easy. One suggestion is to definitely move any cord that will get in the way. He will pull it and drag whatever it is because with a thiccc boy comes some strength. My cat is terrified of it

My main purpose is to keep The house free of dust and pet hair, And it Meets my expectations.

UPDATE: The Roborock team reached out to me, and helped solve these issues so it is now working again. The filter didn't last too long, and I had to use a replacement filter, so I don't know how long these filters last. It is important to clean the thing after each cleaning (which I was already doing anyway). There also was suddenly a software update available which solved a lot of the issues
