I seem to go through a bunch of vacuum cleaners. The last two I purchased were Bissel and they each lasted only about a year. When my last one broke a few months ago I decided to research and try to find the best vacuum under $100 I could find. Although there were newer models of Hoover vacuum's, this particular model won best choice by Consumer Reports and had great reviews on Amazon as well so I decided to give it a shot

The short version; This is a terrific vacuum. My floors have never been cleaner. I am very satisfied with my purchase and could confidently recommend it. I really feel bad for giving it only 3 stars, however, a few minor issues detract from making it the perfect product

The motor has become VERY loud! Not cool! I have dropped my rating from 4 stars to 3 now. For a unit being used for normal household vacuuming it should last at least five years. A replacement motor is 52 bucks plus shipping an installation cost. Is it worth it? I am obviously not a happy camper now

Emptying the canister is super easy, and if you don't let it get too full, it can easily be emptied indoors into your kitchen trash without making a mess. The vacuum is not good at getting close to walls so the hose attachments are a must for finishing the edges of the room, and the hose itself is very short meaning you really have to work in close quarters to the vacuum body when using it. However, all in all I love it! I'm never been one to enjoy vacuuming but this Hoover makes it a breeze! I would give it 5 stars if there were a better solution for the sensors, like designing the sensor area to accept a clip on block that does what the tape does but is more permanent. The tape works well but is still wonky.

It easily detaches and you can dump it right into your garbage with a little shake. It's nice that the HEPA filter is rinse-able, too, and shouldn't have to be replaced. How much are you saving on bags? Tons! The retractable cord was great engineering, as well. My not having to hold the cord while I vacuum is HUGE

The filter is washable, but we found with the e4 it takes forever to dry. The solution to this is just buying a second filter and swapping them when one needs to be cleaned. Easy peasy. The map function works great, dividing/separating rooms is easy

If I wanted something that would just spread my household dirt out more, I'd sweep. Update: It turns out that my disappointment was my own fault, as I failed to perform the relatively simple routine maintenance of cleaning the media filter. I have since done so, and now it's basically operating like new again. Even smart people need to remember to RTFM sometimes

There’s one really good option the Hoover T-Series/Tempo UH30301 $150. It’s a plain traditional upright but it does just about everything and has Hepa bags for good filtration. It’s not the best handling on hard floors but the brushroll shutoff won’t scatter or scratch. Parts are cheap and plentiful but use the Hoover Hepa bags because they filter best and will extend the life of the vacuum

Yeedi is so quiet, the roborock is rather loud. If yeedi added multi-floor mapping to their app, I would switch back in a second! Roborock is a good vacuum, for when your not home, but if your home it's loud and annoying.
