We always start with blue, and then there's black, and then silver. We can have this tent set up in less than five minutes

 And it also comes with these guy lines just in case you can't drive that stake in the ground and you need to extend it a little bit more to get a good spot. Now let's check out the inside of the tent. First of all, the fact that I can almost stand up in this tent is a huge bonus because getting dressed in a tent where you have to lay down or sit down is really hard. Another thing that REI nailed is the ventilation on this tent, just like MK said, there's screens in the doors and in case you get warm at night, there's little screens right next to where you lay and there's screens on top. All of these things were strategically designed by REI to maximize airflow to keep you cold during the hot or warm during the cold

 Hey friends, today we're going to be giving you a review of the REI Basecamp 4 four-person tent

 and we're going to let you know why we chose this tent for our 50 states tour.

 For starters, we love how easy this tent is to set up.

 In case you're new here, we are MK and TJ and we are tent camping in all 50 states.

 We have camped so far in heat, cold, snow, rain, you name it, which is why we are super

 excited to show you this tent because we camped nine states in the old one and this one it's

 But before we move on, if you're into camping, travel, or tent life, go ahead and hit subscribe

 Alright, let's get started by talking about the tent specs.

 The dimensions are 100 by 86 by 60 inches tall.

 The floor is made out of a 150 denier polyester Oxford, which is scratch and puncture resistant.

 And the polyester rain fly is stretch and UV ray resistant.

 And the large vestibule is 27 square feet and the small vestibule is 17 square feet.

 Next, let's talk about the setup of this tent.

 It has the typical X frame that starts here, it crosses up at the top in the middle and

 But it also has these other two bars that cross over in front of the doors.

 So there's clips right here, there's four of them, and then there's also these little

 This tent is your typical dome style tent, and it's got two entrances.

 One of the entrances has this really cool vestibule thing, which offers protection when

 you're coming in and out of the tent when it's snowing or raining.

 Also, it closes up completely so you can do things like put your compost toilet in here

 and you can have your own private bathroom.

 Entrance two to the tent is just like the other side, except there's no overhang on

 This tent comes with loads of tie downs at each poles and on the sides of the tent.

 Each one has its own reflector so you can see it at night.

 Trust me, that comes in handy when you've tripped over a couple stakes or two.

 And it also comes with these guy lines just in case you can't drive that stake in the

 ground and you need to extend it a little bit more to get a good spot.

 Now let's check out the inside of the tent.
