 When it comes to carrying my poles, I can do exactly that. That's my thoughts when it comes to the very much anticipated updates to my favorite running vest and to answer the question. yep, Salomon have pulled it off and they've managed to make an already great run invest even better. It's fitted really well, straight out of the bag, super comfortable, no movement

 obviously not as good as this one, but if you are struggling with either of those, it's definitely worth a watch. It would be great to get your feedback guys. So if you got hold of the new version, especially if you ran in the previous version, then get in the comments below. let us know all about it or tell us all about your hydration system of choice

I am looking for recommendations on a water bottle holder that can be attached securely to my hiking pack (no dangling around so simply attaching using carabiner is quite annoying to me) I’m currently using a chalk bag from outdoor research but it seems the strap inside doesn’t hold the bottle tight enough so it easily slips out of the pocket. Is there a tool that is built to hold a bottle? 

P.s. I’m sure people would recommend me using a hydration bladder but just the thought of it leaking inside my bag is terrifying!

<p>Edit: I forgot to put in more information. When I ask how to carry water bottles, my real question is how you carry it at the front for easy access. Some packs do have holders on the side but it messes up the pack balance a little. I am quite sensitive to these type of stuff and would be very uncomfortable during long treks. </p>

How do you all carry water bottles?

I have the Salomon Advanced Skin 12 and absolutely love it. It was expensive but it’s worth it to me - extremely comfortable (no bounce, truly so well designed) , two 0.5L bottles that cover me for most runs, tons of pockets/space to stash gear, and an insulated sleeve for a 2L bladder for longer efforts (bladder isn’t included).

I usually leave water bottles along my route that I do but sometimes that can’t always happen. My wife usually will ride her bike next to me and she would usually supply me water but she’s back to work and can’t be on all my runs. I hate running with water bottles in my hand. I am looking into a hydration pack but unsure which one is the “the one.” Which ones do you guys run with/use for training? I’m leaning towards a bottle vs reservoir for cleaning purposes. Any help would be appreciated!

It's unfortunate as this vest is actually great until the poor build quality reveals itself. For me, a hydration vest is something you only really wear when you're doing some serious runs. And for that reason, it's really not something you can afford to break.

Broke in 2 places after 4 months

 I get acid reflux every time I run, so having a sip of water during a run longer than 4 miles is  quite necessary.
