 hands down. the Viper Ultimate is my new go to my new daily gaming mouse which is making me shelve my G502. Lightspeed it's that good. I Mainly play FPS games you guys see a lot of times you know I'll just show like Battlefield 5 gameplay and stuff for example

 But in order to really take advantage of the light speed and stuff, you have to also buy the secondary wireless mouse pad bundle If you want to take advantage of light speed in the wireless charging this 150 and has the charging dock for you inside the box. Normally, at $149.99 for a mouse, I'd call for something more feature-rich. But the fact of the matter is the Razer Viper Ultimate achieves everything it puts its mind to. How many of us can say that?

The Viper Ultimate takes one of my favorite competitive mice and removes the wire without compromise. By the transitive property, in my mind, that makes it one of the best gaming mice you can get. Plus, the fact that the wireless is paired with a quick, elegant wireless charging solution makes it a lot easier to stomach that top-of-the-line price.

 It also theoretically improves performance by eliminating "debounce delay," a trait of mechanical contacts that allows the circuit to record when physical contact within a switch is made and ensures your mouse doesn't make misclicks. That performance difference, if it exists, is negligible, so take that claim with a grain of salt. That said, the Viper Ultimate's switches are as comfortable to click as any high-end mechanical switch I've tried, so it isn't a loss, either.

Okay, so let's get to the good stuff&mdash;the wireless stuff. The Viper Ultimate connects to your PC using a 2.4GHz RF dongle. As we've seen throughout the year on mice like the Logitech G502 Lightspeed and the Corsair Ironclaw Wireless RGB, these connections generally work better than Bluetooth, providing a stable, nearly lag-free experience

 That being said, I think I can start with the mouse feet. For a mouse of this price from Razer, there really isn't a good reason that they haven't been improved yet. They're thin, scratchy, and glide poorly. If you're buying the Viper Ultima, I would suggest you add a set of aftermarket skates to your order immediately to get the most from your purchase

 Firstly, Availability 2020 and 21 has seen availability become a major factor when considering tech purchases whether it's Gpus, Next Generation Consoles, final Mouse Drops, or even something like the latest G Wolves, Rts Wireless products are getting more and more difficult to reliably find. There is absolutely a premium in knowing that the Razer Viper Ultimate is available on demand from almost any major retailer or online store, and as a consequence is easy to replace or return if you have any quality control issues. Next positive would be the real price. Now this comes with a caveat: I don't think 150 Msrp advertised is a good deal for this mouse, but the reason I'd suggest this is positive is because I don't think I've seen the standard black edition sold at that price in months, with it selling as low as 99 us dollars with the dock on Amazon in September 2021

Razer Viper Ultimate Review, 2 years at the TOP or WASHED champ? Honest thoughts in 2022

 You can test this online.  + This is my first wireless mouse and I'm pleased to say that wireless feels just as responsive as wired mode. VERY nice to not have to deal with a wire anymore and not have any downsides.  + Good customization within Synapse such as button programming, lighting, power-saving mode threshold, custom DPI, lift-off distance, etc

  - Just a few days in and, though still good, the mouse wheel has slightly lost some of it's snappiness in it's scroll and the left and right clicks have developed a slight give. Somewhat nitpicking here, but I would really hate it if the mouse felt like crap to use in just a few months. For the price, this things should be rock solid for years and not develop that mushy cheapness.  - Didn't think I would, but I constantly press the sidebuttons on the right side when I'm aiming (I use it in my right hand)

5/10 (subjective and also still getting used to the shape so likely to go up, but hitting sidebuttons accidentally sucks - also my first ambidextrous)  Feedback: 8.5/10 (this will get lower if the shell quality doesn't hold and the snappiness diminishes)  Quality: 8/10 (mostly concerned about long-term quality here as left/right buttons already have some slight give/shake to them after a few days of use and the scroll doesn't feel like it's going to hold it's feeling of precision and snappiness in it's steps - otherwise though, pretty solid)  Software: 7/10 (good options but a little too bloated - can thankfully choose which software you'd like to install)  Value: 7/10 (I got it on sale for $120 but I think it's worth more around $100 - if it was perfect for my hand and grip, $120 would be kind of okay maybe, however twice the price of the wired is high enough - full price is simply too much and in the end, I might come to regret not just buying two $60 mice and a bungee)  Currently, this mouse is hovering around an 8 or 8.5/10 for me. This is likely to go up to a 9 with use and as I get used to it's size and shape, just as long as quality and performance stays the same as it is now

Hey guys, I had Razer viper ultimate and deathadder V2 pro. They were good but the small profile and side buttons on viper ultimate were quite small and position bit weird (hard to press side buttons, had to squeeze to press correctly) and deathadder has nice side buttons but it's bit big for my hand.

I just bought the razer Viper Ultimate superglides since they’re so small and slapped them on the base of my mouse lol.

 When I used it with rgb on and 1000hz polling, I got around 2-4 days before I got the red flashing lights. Now, I use it with rgb off and 1000hz polling and I get around a 4-5 days when I'm on my desk all day or about a week and a half if more general use before I need to charge it again. There are some nights where I forget to turn off my mouse but I come back to it and there's still plenty of battery left. I last charged it about two days ago and it is still yellow to green in the software battery indicator

Shape - Viper Medium but closer to Viper Mini. If I were going to compare it to any of the mice I've tried, it feels like a Sirius M with a hump or a less chonky Burst Pro. Great for fingertip and claw for small-medium sized hands. I added badminton grip that I've cut to the sides (not the cleanest cut side grips ever) and it makes my grip with the mouse more consistent

Here is the update to my first impressions I posted about a month ago. I've added side grips and changed the stock feet in the time I've had it, and it has become my new main. Before this I used the Roccat Burst Pro, Xtrfy M42, HK Gaming Sirius M, Rexus Daxa Air Wireless (PWNAGE Ultra Custom Ergo Clone), and the Logitech g102/203. 

 Great for fingertip and claw for small-medium sized hands. I added badminton grip that I've cut to the sides (not the cleanest cut side grips ever) and it makes my grip with the mouse more consistent.

Razer Viper Mini-  Made the G102 feel like a brick, too narrow for extended sessions, comfortable otherwise

The RVM spoilt me in the fact that other mice now feel like bricks but I would like something a little more comfortable, it gets a little uncomfortable after 5+ hours.

Now I am looking for an endgame mouse, which is preferably wireless and lightweight. I have had my eye on the RVU as I feel that a wider Viper would be just perfect. Another mouse that I would want to try is the MM720 but I really want a Wireless mouse. My budget stretches up to the GPW and the RVU so suggest anything in between

 It is a bit expensive, but if it breaks I have my trusty Viper Mini with me. I recommend Viper, but you must see if it fits your grip style. It is also a bit small.

 But, I was wrong. I have some weird hybrid claw grip and fingertip grip, combined. Cant even define it. I liked the shape of Logitech G102 much more and it fit me better

I have this mouse too. I thought I am a fingertip user so I bought it. But, I was wrong. I have some weird hybrid claw grip and fingertip grip, combined

 But as overall mouse, Viper Mini is a better mouse than G102, but both are of insane value. I had g102 for about 1 year and then cable broke. 

So this isn't going to be the most structured review of the viper mini as there are already plenty of detailed ones out there. It's more of just some things I found after using the mouse. 

**Shape isn't for everyone.**

This mouse is really small, don't underestimate it, or I guess overestimate it. As someone who used to claw grip with my previous mouse (GPW) I started out claw gripping this mouse. But as time went on I began to catch myself fingertipping the mouse. My hands seemed to just gravitate towards fingertip. I suspect it's due to the length of the mouse which is just a tad bit short for me, as it makes my fingers curl up further than my hand would like. But if you were a fingertip gripper then I could definitely see this as being heaven for your hands. 

**Software is trash.**

A lot of people seem to gloss over this, and though yes it is not necessary to have the software installed you have 0 control over the lighting effects if you don't install synapse. It doesn't even save to the onboard memory! So as soon as you delete synapse, be ready to be greeted by the color cycle effect. It wouldn't be so bad if the software was less junky,  but it's synapse so...

**Insane value for money.**

For 30usd and sometimes cheaper, this mouse is unbeatable and will definitely be my go to recommendation to anyone who needs something on a budget or to anyone just getting into pc gaming.

**Best click latency?**

The viper mini's mouse clicks are as fast as it gets, according to [these](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yy0xmcBg_IY) tests from Optimum Tech. Although this may not be significant enough to be perceivable, I enjoy the peace of mind that comes with having the lowest possible latency as someone who plays "competitive" games like Valorant. Doesn't stop me from constantly getting rekt by 10yr olds tho. 

And that's about it. The viper mini is still a great mouse, maybe even one of the best depending on who you are. I hope to see some improved software or onboard memory in the upcoming "Viper Mini Ultimate" that was recently confirmed by a Razer rep. Even though it isn't for me, I don't think the shape needs to be changed either as there are many who love it. If you see it for less than 20USD just buy it and give it a go.
