Normally, at $149.99 for a mouse, I'd call for something more feature-rich. But the fact of the matter is the Razer Viper Ultimate achieves everything it puts its mind to. How many of us can say that?

The Viper Ultimate takes one of my favorite competitive mice and removes the wire without compromise. By the transitive property, in my mind, that makes it one of the best gaming mice you can get. Plus, the fact that the wireless is paired with a quick, elegant wireless charging solution makes it a lot easier to stomach that top-of-the-line price.

 It also theoretically improves performance by eliminating "debounce delay," a trait of mechanical contacts that allows the circuit to record when physical contact within a switch is made and ensures your mouse doesn't make misclicks. That performance difference, if it exists, is negligible, so take that claim with a grain of salt. That said, the Viper Ultimate's switches are as comfortable to click as any high-end mechanical switch I've tried, so it isn't a loss, either.

Okay, so let's get to the good stuff&mdash;the wireless stuff. The Viper Ultimate connects to your PC using a 2.4GHz RF dongle.  That being said, I think I can start with the mouse feet. For a mouse of this price from Razer, there really isn't a good reason that they haven't been improved yet. They're thin, scratchy, and glide poorly. If you're buying the Viper Ultima, I would suggest you add a set of aftermarket skates to your order immediately to get the most from your purchase

 Firstly, Availability 2020 and 21 has seen availability become a major factor when considering tech purchases whether it's Gpus, Next Generation Consoles, final Mouse Drops, or even something like the latest G Wolves, Rts Wireless products are getting more and more difficult to reliably find. There is absolutely a premium in knowing that the Razer Viper Ultimate is available on demand from almost any major retailer or online store, and as a consequence is easy to replace or return if you have any quality control issues. Next positive would be the real price. Now this comes with a caveat: I don't think 150 Msrp advertised is a good deal for this mouse, but the reason I'd suggest this is positive is because I don't think I've seen the standard black edition sold at that price in months, with it selling as low as 99 us dollars with the dock on Amazon in September 2021

Razer Viper Ultimate Review, 2 years at the TOP or WASHED champ? Honest thoughts in 2022

 You can test this online.  + This is my first wireless mouse and I'm pleased to say that wireless feels just as responsive as wired mode. VERY nice to not have to deal with a wire anymore and not have any downsides.  + Good customization within Synapse such as button programming, lighting, power-saving mode threshold, custom DPI, lift-off distance, etc

  - Just a few days in and, though still good, the mouse wheel has slightly lost some of it's snappiness in it's scroll and the left and right clicks have developed a slight give. Somewhat nitpicking here, but I would really hate it if the mouse felt like crap to use in just a few months. For the price, this things should be rock solid for years and not develop that mushy cheapness.  - Didn't think I would, but I constantly press the sidebuttons on the right side when I'm aiming (I use it in my right hand)

5/10 (subjective and also still getting used to the shape so likely to go up, but hitting sidebuttons accidentally sucks - also my first ambidextrous)  Feedback: 8.5/10 (this will get lower if the shell quality doesn't hold and the snappiness diminishes)  Quality: 8/10 (mostly concerned about long-term quality here as left/right buttons already have some slight give/shake to them after a few days of use and the scroll doesn't feel like it's going to hold it's feeling of precision and snappiness in it's steps - otherwise though, pretty solid)  Software: 7/10 (good options but a little too bloated - can thankfully choose which software you'd like to install)  Value: 7/10 (I got it on sale for $120 but I think it's worth more around $100 - if it was perfect for my hand and grip, $120 would be kind of okay maybe, however twice the price of the wired is high enough - full price is simply too much and in the end, I might come to regret not just buying two $60 mice and a bungee)  Currently, this mouse is hovering around an 8 or 8.5/10 for me. This is likely to go up to a 9 with use and as I get used to it's size and shape, just as long as quality and performance stays the same as it is now

Hey guys, I had Razer viper ultimate and deathadder V2 pro. They were good but the small profile and side buttons on viper ultimate were quite small and position bit weird (hard to press side buttons, had to squeeze to press correctly) and deathadder has nice side buttons but it's bit big for my hand.

I just bought the razer Viper Ultimate superglides since they’re so small and slapped them on the base of my mouse lol.

Greetings all. I'll get straight to the point. Like the title says, I'm a female gamer with small hands and long fingers. My preferred grip is palm and I'm right-handed. My hand side is 6.3" inches long and 3" inches wide. I'm currently using the Razer Viper Mini after switching from the HyperX Pulsefire Surge, but I have some conflicting feels about the switch. While I like the overall feel of the Mini, because my fingers are rather long, the tip of my pinky tends to rub on the surface of my mouse pad when playing games. To compensate, I move my ring and pinky fingers into a type of claw grip. I have no such problems when using the Surge, or even my ROCCAT Kone Pure SE.   


I pretty much love everything else about the Viper Mini, however. Glide is amazing, it's nice and light without being holey. The Razer grip tape I bought with it is amazing. It's just the issue with my pinky (and the tiny scroll wheel, but that's not my main issue) finger that has me considering either returning the Mini and just going back to my Surge, buying the regular Viper, or ignoring my qualms about holey mice and going with the Pulsefire Haste.   


Any advice? Thank you in advanced :)

My preferred grip is palm and I&#39;m right-handed. My hand side is 6.3&quot; inches long and 3&quot; inches wide. I&#39;m currently using the Razer Viper Mini after switching from the HyperX Pulsefire Surge, but I have some conflicting feels about the switch. While I like the overall feel of the Mini, because my fingers are rather long, the tip of my pinky tends to rub on the surface of my mouse pad when playing games. To compensate, I move my ring and pinky fingers into a type of claw grip. I have no such problems when using the Surge, or even my ROCCAT Kone Pure SE.   </p>

<p>I pretty much love everything else about the Viper Mini, however. Glide is amazing, it&#39;s nice and light without being holey. The Razer grip tape I bought with it is amazing. Female Gamer with Small Hands/long fingers - mouse advice?

 They usually have horrible switches and poor tracking. They just don't "feel right". This mouse doesn't feel that way, it looks, feels, and acts like a wireless mouse costing much more. The mouse I'm reviewing is the Delux M800DBPAW3335 mouse, not the cheaper PMW3325 mouse

 Annoyance #1 is that it has no BlueTooth capability. Annoyance #2 is that it loses (or changes) the dpi settings, which are supposed to be controlled by a switch on the spine of the mouse, just behind the scroll wheel.  Other than that, this thing rocks. It has good tracking and is much better at maintaining the signal well beyond what my Steel Series Rival 3 wireless mouse will

A good clone of a Razer Viper mouse for half the price.

 It was fixed by bringing the mouse closer to the dongle, which is fine. The real problem I had with this mouse is that the DPI sensor was calibrated incorrectly or broken. I downloaded the drivers and loaded up my settings for my mouse, and hopped into a game. To my surprise, the sensitivity was like way higher than what I was used to, so after that game I got out a ruler and did the old 180 degree/cm test and found out that this mouse was configured so that the sens was much much higher compared to the two other mice that I own

Sensor not calibrated correctly?

 I have big Hulk-sized mitts, so YMMV, but buttons are exactly where my hand expects them to be, and not uncomfortable to press repeatedly. Scroll wheel is a little tight, notches are responsive during use and make no noise, third button works well. The wheel is a little slippery, but I think I'm used to more friction between the wheel and my fingers.  Setup, software app, and firmware update was all surprisingly functional and easy to use; pretty satisfied with that process

 In addition, you can't charge on USB and continue using the mouse in wireless mode; if the USB cable is plugged into the mouse, it must be connected to the computer if you want to continue using the mouse. My KVM doesn't supply enough power to charge, so I basically can't use this mouse until it charges - that's a breaking point for me, even though I like the rest of this mouse; my overall satisfaction would definitely increase if it had a better battery life. I'd rather have a version that traded weight or LEDS for battery life that lasted a month (let alone a week).
