Meet the Razer Viper Mini, the best budget ultra-lightweight mouse we've tested. Based on the original Razer Viper, this mouse is smaller and slightly lighter, but it feels just as sturdy as its larger counterpart.

Its click latency is outstanding, meaning gaming will feel responsive no matter the genre. Though the sensor isn't quite as good as the full-sized model, it still offers a low lift-off distance and a fairly wide CPI range, within which you can find a sensitivity setting that suits your play style. The best budget FPS mouse is the Razer Viper Mini. Neither its feet nor cable cause drag on desks or mousepads, so you'll have a smooth and fluid gliding experience.

Using the companion software you can reprogram all of its buttons, and you can adjust the sensor settings and customize the RGB lighting to suit your preferences. However, the software isn't available on macOS. Although, you can save your settings to the mouse's onboard memory using a PC and carry them across to other devices without the software installed.

Unfortunately, its sensor is a bit inconsistent and tends to undershoot the set CPI by quite a bit more during slow, tracking cursor movements. But also the Viper Mini fills my hand better because of the hump, the DA V2 Mini’s shape feels much flatter in my hand. In the end it comes down to whether or not you prefer symmetrical or asymmetrical shapes. The “improved” cable may or may not please the ones who complained about cable drag on the Viper Mini, but Razer has been doing a great job of listening to us so far, and I am sure they will consider reverting back to the old braid if people don’t like the new one.

Switches were really light, but still an amazing budget choice for a gaming mouse.

I have been using Viper Mini with 400 DPI/1000Hz and a 55cm/360 sensitivity (arm aimer) and I did not feel any drastic difference in LOD after the new firmware but rather it feels a bit more accurate sort of, someone stated as mouse being "not as floaty" but for me it might as well be just placebo. I have been maining the Viper Mini from release and never felt the LOD being too high, it never was an issue in-game for me. I do lift off my mouse quite a bit while playing but never had any major issues with the LOD, only when "testing the LOD" it might have felt a bit too high. After the new firmware I feel that the difference is rather more accurate feeling of the sensor and for me it made the mouse ever so slightly more better which it already is

Viper / DA Mini LOD Improvement - Results

The clicks were mushy and not great, they put me off the mouse, but I loved the clicks of my  viper mini, I saw online their hotswap and decided to swap them over to see if it fixed the issue and it did!. I now have an amazing Viper Ultimate, and one crappy Viper mini with mushy clicks!

Not sure if people know, but you can easily swap Viper mini switches into your Viper Ultimate.

Any USB-C cable we ship to customers will need to be safe and compliant with USB-IF specs. This means the cable will need to support 3A current, much thicker gauge and much thicker shielding. As most of you would know - non-compliant cables are a major pain point for retailers and the industry... [Amazon routinely bans brands that sell non-standard cables.](https://techcrunch.com/2016/03/29/amazon-bans-the-sale-of-rogue-usb-c-cables/) Using a non-compliant cable is NOT an option for Razer. With micro-USB, we can continue to offer the speedflex cables (that we ship with our mice now). Of course, we do understand plugged-in use is not the dominant case for wireless mice.

Sidenote : USB-C does not automatically mean fast-charging as some people assume. Almost none of the USB-C mice on the market till date have actual fast charging. The charging current is well below what micro-USB can provide (500mA).


**Question 2 : 50h battery that charges in 1 hour vs 70h battery that charges in 2.5 hours.**

For the same weight, those are the 2 options available. Batteries that allow faster absorption require bigger anodes/cathodes, and hence lower capacity. Alternatively, for the same weight you could have battery with smaller anodes/cathodes, slower absorption rates but higher capacity. For mouse charging purposes, USB-C vs micro-USB has no bearing on charging speed. See sidenote above.

Most of our wireless rechargeable mice use optical switches. To allow the mouse to wake up from sleep using mouse-click, the switch/LED needs to be ON to detect the input. However, seeing as people complain about the "days between recharges" as one of their pain points compared to other mechanical switch mice, I'm opening this up for feedback again if people are willing to live with the requirement to move the mouse to wake it up. Do note that it IS very much possible to click mice without moving them what so ever.

 I do prefer seamless design where it smoothly transition. I rather have a mouse that slightly difficult to open up and change the back plate than a mouse that is discomfort to use. After all, how often do I need to change it?

 It is a bit too protruding for my taste as it rubs against my palm when using and causing quite some discomfort. I wish in the updated version. An excellent mouse for the price

 So this thing right now is weighing at about 73 grams, a little bit over which isn't bad. This is about the same way as the xm1 that i've been using previously, but it is a little bit of a bigger mouse and it does feel really comfortable too. It feels like a model d, very similar design, huge side buttons and these uh. These clicks are actually pretty solid, too pressing them in really hard, because uh we've seen a couple videos but uh

 I'M really impressed because the build quality seems pretty solid, like i would put this one or two steps below the uh: the glorious model d, because the model d, the plastic, feels a little bit better but, like i said, i'm gon na give this company a little Bit of a pass because they are a smaller company, so on the screen, i have the dimensions of all four mice i'm going to be comparing today the xm1, the hottie, the pwnage and the model d uh. Basically, the closest thing that i can describe this poners mouse to being is super close to the model d, but it is a little bit shorter. The model d is noticeably taller, but the opponent mouse is also a little bit wider as well feels a little bit more unique than the model d, because this one is wireless, weighs less, has better skates and the rgb effects are still pretty cool too. The software isn't really anything to write home about it's just about as basic as glorious um

 What about this dpi button here? Do you have to take the whole thing apart? Oh, okay, wow! That'S easy! You just pull it out because it's just a little rubber piece see super stupid, simple design, that's good! These are all positives here, boys. One thing i will say like there's a little bit of a trick to it, but i think it's just because i'm being a little bit extra careful so that i don't break it because obviously this one breaks, i'm not gon na - be able to get a replacement Of this one because uh yeah it took a while for this one to ship out yeah, i mean that was pretty quick within a couple minutes. Honestly, it'll just get faster over time after you're used to pulling it apart and put it back together, but really switching the top plates. This middle mouse button you can switch out to all you got to do, is kind of dig your fingernail in and you can peel it out and put the the other ones in here, but yeah like that was super stupid easy to do

 No flex and great feeling in hand. I wish they had included grip tape for the sides as they did for my pwnage ergo, or I should have opted for the solid body which only adds a gram or so. I played with some of the mouse spacers to dial in the click feel. It notes in the manual that some of the thicker pads might not work due to tolerances which was true on my unit, as the 

[Size comparison ]([URL REMOVED] Game - Main clicks are definitive and tactile, with no noticeable pre-travel. Certainly a different feel than the GPX with gm8, as the GPX has the pre-tensioning system. Side clicks are very nice, with low pre-travel. Tracking feels good

 I've never used a mouse with better glide, especially on stock skates. I think the only thing I'd change on the Symm 2 is a lighter battery, and anything else to save a few more grams. Bravo to Pwange for a nicely executed product. 

 Now, as far as underneath the mouse right here, 100 ptfe feet, and let me tell you what these feet are chunky, i mean they stick out right here, very nice and rounded along the edges, nice pad in the middle now. Yes, i do kind of wish that they had a big pad all the way up top and then big pad at bottom, but again with these feet being so stinking big and again rounded on the edge. I don't really feel that scratchiness, like i felt on other mice before with the gap right there. If any, has seen any of my other mice reviews you all know

 If you desire a little bit tougher to get out but a heck again, we want to use it wireless. So that's just really cool how simple it is again just to take this stuff off bam. Put it in this groove slap it back. There put your back on bam and you are ready to game right there, but the really cool thing again

 This sensor will save more battery life than this one over here, but again, this one right here spot on perfect. Now, as far as using the mouse again, you can use it wired or wireless right on the bottom of mouse. You have a switch right here. Right in the middle is off down is on with the rgb on, which is a strip right on the back up

 But if you like that claw or you like that, uh palm grip right there wow this thing is so stinking cozy. The best way for me to explain it right here, which is the mouse. A lot of us have probably used, is the zowie ec2. One of my favorite ergonomic mice right here, you just put your hand on this thing and it is stinking cozy

71g Wireless Gaming Mouse!!!! Pwnage Ultra Custom Review

 The closest thing I can compare it to is the viper but the back of the mouse is more flared like the S2 but much lower profile than the S2. This is an absolutely amazing mouse for being 3D Printed and hand painted, the attention to detail is amazing too, even the inside of the hex-holes were painted pink to contrast the white shell. Furthermore the original G305 PCB was modded with a rechargeable battery as well as Japanese Omrons instead of the stock switches that it comes with  

 The weight feels amazing and the fact that there's no holes on the outside feels nice. The coating on the KPU is perfect and the lethal paracord makes the mouse feel almost wireless with their new PVC wiring for a lighter cable. This mouse definitely needs the stock feet and stock cable replaced. I purchased the Coral Pink from Amazon Japan for about 7000 Yen
