It has a clean, futuristic look and a very compact, symmetrical shape. It feels very sturdy and has a pair of side buttons on the left and a scroll wheel with both left and right inputs for horizontal scrolling and a free-scrolling mode. You can connect it wirelessly with a USB receiver or via Bluetooth. It pairs with up to four devices simultaneously, and it has a lengthy advertised battery life of up to 465 hours if using two AA batteries. This mouse also allows you to use the mouse with a single AA battery if you prefer, and there's an internal storage space for the USB receiver, so you aren't as likely to lose the receiver in transit.

Unfortunately, while it has a symmetrical shape, it isn't a true ambidextrous design as there are only side buttons on the left side. Enter the Razer Pro Click Mini. This mouse is the second productivity focused pointer from Razer, and features quieter switches and a smaller footprint than the first. Instead of the Pro Click's right-handed ergonomic design, the white-and-gray Mini has an ambidextrous shape (though to my eyes it's curved just a bit to favor righties). It doesn't break any new ground but it's easy to hold, with gently indented, rubberized sides and barely perceptible ridges on its left and right edges. The Razer name is lettered on top but the bag-of-snakes logo and RGB lighting of the firm's gaming mice are absent.&nbsp;

The Pro Click Mini approximately doubles the Pro Click's battery life, with Razer estimating you'll get up to 465 hours from two AAs with a 2.4GHz link or 725 hours with Bluetooth. The thing is one of the most comfortable mice I've ever had the pleasure of using. Same level of comfort as the MX Master 3. It doesn't have as many buttons as the MX Master 3, but it sure does feel just as good.

I am having a hard time choosing between a Logitech G502  a MX Master 3 and a G903. What would you recommend to be the best solution for both use cases(office+light gaming)? Which one would be more ergonomical (bc i spend a lot of time at the desk) and reliable?

 They nailed it all right. So this thing compared to the regular pro click. It'S tiny not only that my usual sort of mouse that i use when i travel is the g403 it's smaller than that too. The interesting thing, though, is because it has two replaceable double a batteries in there

 Razer sent us here in montreal a prototype just to check it out and to give them a little bit of feedback, so it's an early sample, but i've got a couple of opinions about it. First of all, let's talk about that mobile part. The mobile part means two things to me: number one is size and weight because when i'm traveling i've traveled with this thing a few times, those are the two primary things that i'm looking for. Anything that i carry with me has to be lightweight, because i don't want it sort of weighing down my backpack too much and it has to be small well small

 The prototype ultra costs a whopping 160 dollars. Now, if we look at the competition, the first thing that comes to my mind, that competes with the pro click mini is the logitech mx anywhere 3 mouse. That thing is literally it's exactly the same in terms of shape and features wise, it's a little bit different, but i'll, let mike chime in on his experience using the mx mini a little bit later in the video, but right now i just want to focus on The prototype ultra, because this thing is a really unique piece - that's catered towards a very specific type of audience. So for starters, the design is very sleek and it complements the rest of razer's pro lineup

 They made sure that this thing could run off of only one single double a battery. The other option that i've sort of looked towards is using a double a to triple a adapter, to cut down the weight, even more, of course that affects battery life, but i'm going to talk about that in a bit now. The other thing that i wanted to mention about this is something that some of you might be cringing about, and that's the fact that it uses replaceable batteries. Personally, i usually have an issue with that because of the environment, but i also don't like having a built-in battery, because if you're traveling you're always looking for you know a charger or whatever

And why is that feature not backwards compatible with its predecessor (Razer tech themselves were unable to answer this)? I’d far prefer the predecessor for a number of reasons that will become apparent as this review goes on, but the updated features on this make the Mini the pick for me, despite the drawbacks.  Secondly, and the cause of this 4 (previously 3) star review since Amazon asks about ergonomics straight away

A good product that needs changes

 My primary mouse is the Razer DeathAdder V2 X Hyperspeed, which has dedicated buttons right on the mouse for adjusting the DPI. I of course always prefer having the adjustments on the mouse but in this case it’s “good enough”. This mouse is actually acceptable to me with its default DPI setting. I found that the side buttons worked as forward and back buttons on the Windows computer using the Edge browser, but didn’t seem to do anything at all on the Mac computer using Safari

Compact, quiet, versatile, any configuration requires software

 - the weight of the batteries basically eliminates this as a gaming mouse.  This is going to boil down to how you use the mouse. If you only use it with a Windows / Linux machine, the Mamba is a better option. You don't have to worry about your battery dying

 You can just plug it in. If you use your mouse with Android or really need a smaller form factor, and plan on using BT, than the Pro Click is the better option. Price isn't a big factor here. The price of both tends to fluctuate

For the most part, I love it.

 Battery life has been good thus far. If I had to pick between the Anywhere and the Pro Click Mini, I think I'd pick the Pro Click Mini, because I can swap out the batteries with my own rechargeables whenever I run low, rather than having to wait for the internal battery in the Logitech to finish charging. But really, they're both great mice and I'll be keeping an eye out on Razer's next iteration to see what improvements they make.

 The scroll wheel can be smooth scrolling or clicky. It's easy to switch between the two modes with the switch under the wheel.  The mouse connected to my desktop computer via Bluetooth quickly and seamlessly. It maintains the connection without any issues

 Initially it was a bit off putting but after using the Razer for a few days I have acclimated to the grip and have no issues. There are large textured rubberized pads on the sides of the mouse and on the scrollwheel's surface.  All in all.
