Razer Ergonomic Wrist Rest vs Kensington ErgoSoft Mouse Wrist Rest

I bought the wrist rest pro in hope that it would be better than the old one. I am so disappointed with the product that costs almost twice as much as other brands. The front angle of the wrist rest does not sit right with the keyboard. The wrist rest sits far back from the BlackWidow and my palms can only rest about 30% of the overall area

Sine I use it with the kensington slimblade trackball, I really feel no difference with or without it. So to me, it's not something I'd buy again. Ergonomically, it doesn't make much difference. About the only time I'd consider using it if I had to buy it again would be on a glass top, since I hate my wrist resting on glass

The wrist rest is nice and it definitely stays cool, but there will sometimes be air bubbles under the fabric and I have to push down hard on them to get them to go away. Also, this is for a full size keyboard, so it will be a little shorter than the Blackwidow V2 because the Blackwidow has 5 macro keys on the left side. Otherwise, it is a really nice wrist rest.

Kensington stuff is always good. I’ve been using it for over two decades. This wrist rest seemed like the best choice for my Apple Magic Keyboard. And it probably is

this wrist wrest is a little bit expensive compared to comparable products, but I got it anyway just to match it up with my other razer products for aesthetics. So far the memory foam doesn't get "crushed" after a few months of use witch is good. Also being artificial leather is nice as I have great Great Danes and sometimes have to clean up the occasional bit of drool off of it.

The synthetic surface is not irritating - important if you are going to be using it for hours - and my wrists slide easily over it. The design is sleek and understated. It is firm with a slight give.
