A friend of mine recommended I check out Razer's keyboard lineup. While some people have a problem with the green (loud) switches, I enjoy the sound when I press the keys, so that wasn't a problem for me. I am not big on RGB, but if you want some lights with your keyboard, this BlackWidow has a good light show. My review is not dinging the keyboard due to it having RGB, but instead because of the tactile feel when I type

An okay keyboard for gaming, but terrible for writing!

 (My setup is conveniently placed right by the wall to another bedroom). I need a keyboard, primarily for gaming, that is as quiet as possible, and I don’t want it to look «gamer-like» at all.

I have recently bought everything I need to build my first KB besides the DIY Kit part(Case, plate, and PCB) I was trying to find a 65% hotswap that looked really good and I settled on the NK 65. Is it worth waiting for the restock? Is this board as good as it looks or is there not much difference between something like this and the TOFU?

Are there any good White or RGB LED keyboards with Cherry MX Brown switches that don't leak light under the key caps? Something similar to the Logitech Romer G switches. I like illuminated key caps as my room is almost always dark but I prefer less light leakage especially when I'm watching movies/shows.

I'm looking for pre-built options. I stumbled, across the Keychron K4, but I don't like how the arrow cluster is flush with the rest of the keyboard. I'd prefer some sort of physical divide.

Is there a reason why a particular S/N of Logitech G keyboards is not found anywhere? I am sure producing a fake large manifacturer mechanical kb is too much of a hassle, but I am still just a bit suspicious. It's a second-hand G513 Carbon with GX Browns. It works and looks perfectly fine. However the old(er) Logitech Gaming software detected it as a GX Blue G513. And to top it off the S/N is not listed anywhere on their site and the P/N is not recognized when trying to register it there. I would have thought that even if the S/N numbers are updated with revisions, their warranty site would still find all part or serial numbers. The only place I managed to see a similar serial number is in a review video of the keyboard. Serial is 820-009180.

 Now I'm okay building my own KB as long as it's hot swappable but I'll do whatever is cheapest. I've determined I want linear switches.

I've put in an order for a Drop CTRL HP - while switches and stabs are easy enough to pick out and will be modded when I go to install them, I've read that some keycap sets do not properly fit the keyboard because of their profile. Can anyone provide further info on this?

Hi everyone! I'm in the market to replace my cheap rubberdome Logitech for my first mechanical keyboard. I'm leaning toward brown switches and need a numpad, but like a compact design. The Keychron K4 seems to tick all the boxes, but the front seems a bit steep, so I worry my hands will sit in a weird position and I dislike using an armrest.

Are there any other "96%" keyboards like the Keychron K4 with brown switches? I don't want to spend too much and will only be typing on it. I don't need a backlit keyboard and I won't be playing games on it. 

I'm shopping in the Netherlands with Euro's.

I've never used a mechanical keyboard before and will go to a store first to try out the different switch types (upon reading, I think MX Red Silent might suit me). I've been googling mechanical keyboards and came to the conclusion that the Leopold FC900R PD would be a better investment than one marked for gaming.

One issue though is that I need an AZERTY layout (Belgian here), I haven't yet found where I can buy a set of caps for this layout. Can you buy such a set from Leopold?
