3 grams heavier than the original g703 at 98 grams (although the manual states its around 90 grams and the amazon page puts it at 95) but I'm sure my weight is accurate as I used it to weigh my Razer basilisk x hyperspeed and rival 3 wireless.

I found the big LED icon a little too distracting so I put a piece of black electrical tape over it but others may not care. Overall, a very sleek looking and well functioning mouse.

The scrollwheel is a nice rubber wheel that clicks into grooves very nice love it. What I liked the most was the changing lights and the feel of the mouse and a plus that it's wireless. It was very easy to connect no difficulty at all. Really recommend this to all the gamers out there!

1 - eventually internal battery will run out - or fail - for basilisk ultimate..by now they probably have fixed some issues with the charging Dock that plagued the first few batches.

battery life is not the best for this product.. getting the double click issues here 7 months later for everyday desktop use.

I just got a Razer Basilisk V2 and I'm a bit torn on whether to return it or not. I'm coming from a Zowie EC1 evo, which I've loved but I've felt is a bit small for me. Don't think my hands are especially big (19/12cm) but I wanted to try something larger now that my Zowie started double-clicking.

It's slightly bigger than other wireless mouses I've owned, but I found that I actually prefer this size and it feels much more ergonomically correct. Perfect if you struggle with sore wrists.

I don't play competitive FPS anymore, so I can't talk much about its accuracy or performance but it definitely didn't hinder my play at all. It is way more comfortable than the G903 (obviously), and I feel as if I can hold it all day using a claw grip. The wire doesn't get intrusive, and this is coming from someone who used a wireless mouse primarily before! All in all, this mouse really fit, and exceeded, my needs.

I tried to like this mouse. I have limited usb ports in my computer so I liked this mouse because it seemed versatile for my needs. If I needed the mouse for high performance, I could use the 2.4 micro usb or I could use the bluetooth

2 The Thumb rest is a bit over engineered, pro-longed sessions of the user might result in soreness of the side of the thumb from sitting on the resting spot, it has no padding of any kind to mitigate this. just a thin textured rubber surface. 3 DPI this is the first mouse I've used that does not allow dynamic Up and/or Down on the fly adjustment, it is just sequential 1,2,3,4 and 5. you cannot go up 2, then down 1

The sensor DPI selection is fantastic and is perfectly adjustable to your needs. RBG lighting is beautiful, and installing the SteelSeries drivers was extremely easy. Wonderful customization, the perimeter lighting is extremely customizable to your preference. Great job SteelSeries, for making a mouse that is both high performance and cost-effective! A perfect gift to the gamer or power PC/Mac user in your life
