The back side button on my second copy was loose and protruded out from the side of the mouse quite a bit. On a good copy, you shouldn't be able to jiggle the side buttons at all, but on the defective second copy the back mouse button jiggled. It's a bit hard to see in the picture, but the second copy's back button also protruded out more than the first - the buttons shouldn't really extend too far from the side of the mouse at all. 19 at the time of this review. *** 05/18/2021 Update *** OK, the scroll wheel click isn't working properly. I'm getting double clicks randomly. I thought it was dirty so I cleaned it up with compress air but didn't fix the problem

I just got a Razer Basilisk V2 and I'm a bit torn on whether to return it or not. I'm coming from a Zowie EC1 evo, which I've loved but I've felt is a bit small for me. Don't think my hands are especially big (19/12cm) but I wanted to try something larger now that my Zowie started double-clicking.

Normally I like Logitech mice. This one however, does not fit my hand properly and causes pain. I use both a palm grip and a claw grip. I found that this mouse has its high point toward the back of the palm and puts my fingers in an uncomfortable spot

I don't play competitive FPS anymore, so I can't talk much about its accuracy or performance but it definitely didn't hinder my play at all. It is way more comfortable than the G903 (obviously), and I feel as if I can hold it all day using a claw grip. The wire doesn't get intrusive, and this is coming from someone who used a wireless mouse primarily before! All in all, this mouse really fit, and exceeded, my needs.

So I haven't tested it in that respect. In terms of tech, I'm not too involved with knowing much on dpi specs (husband's territory), but from a user perspective, I have had zero issues. Good response time to my movements. The glow settings are pretty neat, I found that a pleasant surprise :)

2 The Thumb rest is a bit over engineered, pro-longed sessions of the user might result in soreness of the side of the thumb from sitting on the resting spot, it has no padding of any kind to mitigate this. just a thin textured rubber surface. 3 DPI this is the first mouse I've used that does not allow dynamic Up and/or Down on the fly adjustment, it is just sequential 1,2,3,4 and 5. you cannot go up 2, then down 1

Not good for switching DPI mid-match. However, this is an uncommon scenario and the good of the mouse vastly outweighs this minor flaw.
