It’s not all bad, though, as we still think that the styling’s appeal still holds up.

The thin straps offered no cushion and dug into our shoulders, making it tiresome to carry for long periods.  I like it better when they put it there because I think it's a little bit easier to work with. You don't have to unbuckle things, or in this case, if I like, slide it under, you know, and then I can open it, but then it's still compressed down, so don't love that. I wish they just came behind and attached right here so you wouldn't have to undo the compression straps every time you wanted to open the bag. It's a slight annoyance

 You need to unbuckle this to get the zipper underneath. Don't really love that here, but it does work better on the opposite side where the water bottle pocket is. I've got the compression strap weaving through the top of this water bottle pocket or this water bottle like little handle right here. Or you could put it just on this top portion right there

 I think that's fine because it's zippered. It's not getting anything's going to come shooting out of here, but it's a nice mesh stretchy material Here, it opens up, you've got some ample space in there. I mean, I've got like my notebook, passport, some masks, sunglasses in here. This is basically what I've been using as my quick access pocket, which again, I don't love

 So about halfway down the bag, what i have inside of here is i've, got just my laptop a little keyboard and roost stand, so i'm able to fit all those uh kind of electronics. I'M just going to set them behind me here. All those electronics can fit into this compartment quite easily. Now this pocket is very padded, as you can see, it's kind of got the stitched reinforcement - and this is you know - pretty dense foam like it's very thick thick from here to here

 So, if you're going to be riding your bike or something like that at night, it gives you a little bit of extra visibility. I like on this bag. It has more of a professional vibe, and you can see here that we have the compression straps down here at the bottom. So that's going to make the bag smaller, make it a little skinnier and give it a more professional look and i've got it pretty fully packed out just to show you how much we can get inside, but it really helps to thin it down if you'd, like So yeah just compression buckles here, just some duraflex hardware, if you like that uh you have elastic keepers here to manage the straps, which is really important for a bag

Got this bag for commuting to work and it’s great—love the different pockets, laptop sleeve, padded straps, and actually found the key ring hook to be the most useful feature. The only downside to the water proof material is that while it looks really sleek and indeed keeps out moisture, it also shows wear EXTREMELY quickly. I’m talking a finger nail scratch will scuff this bag and stay forever. So, while I’ve had it less than a month and been pretty careful with it, it looks like it’s had nine lives

While this pack is a perfect size for minimalist carry on, at first I found it to be a bad fit. As a guy with a L or XL torso: the sternum strap was nearly at my neck at the lower of the two settings. I moved it to the very bottom of the padded strap, and it works much better but I had to let out all of the slack in the straps. As some has mentioned, access isn’t the best but it does have a good feature set

I just really want to know how nice everything feels like the quality of the materials is really really good. I like that the compression straps the buckles are actually metal, as opposed to the plastic that you typically find on a lot of bags, and everything just feels like it'll really hold up well for a long time, and and overall, just the aesthetic of the bag is Really pleasing to me, it reminds me a lot of the LA Packer tiger, new bag that I've reviewed previously, and this is kind of a more premium version of that bag. In my opinion, they're about the same size, this one just has a little bit better build

Great everyday laptop with surprisingly large capacity for its size and lots of style.

 That's not really the argument that I'm gonna make. The argument I'm gonna make is it's not comfortable with all of that stuff. So I mean even when I wore it with stuff on the last day I used it, it did. Really, it lacked in being able to be comfortable I found it to dig into my shoulders a lot more as there's not much padding at the shoulder part right here

So really for me that's one of my main things I want with a backpack is to be comfortable because you could be holding. you know not very many things and it's perfectly fine that that once you add any weight you know like a laptop in there, it just pulls right on your back

 Also, as I mentioned before, that clamshell opening is really helpful for loading unloading, you know, just making it easier in your life to deal with it and to put stuff in, take stuff out of the bag. So again, that was a real positive. but overall I'd have to say that I I'm not a big fan of the bag and the main reason for that is the strap system I Found not very comfortable as you saw I do have a bit of stuff that I carry for work and in my Borealis bag of course it being bigger holds it all. no problem

 It's not comfortable and if you have to stand for a while or walk anywhere or use it in airport, it's not really gonna be useful for you there. So main takeaway on the negative is the lack of comfort. Obviously it is a smaller bag for me I need a bit more size so I would probably upgrade to a different model depending if I was to get another one just to see how it could hold everything that I you know use in my day-to-day life or you know, maybe take a minimalist lifestyle and use less stuff. But as I was saying, even with less stuff but in it, it still isn't very comfortable on your back

I was looking for a small-ish bag to carry things to and from the office, and on short trips. The bag I had been using was a big TSA-approved laptop backpack that was more suited for weekend trips, or bringing clothes and a lunch to work - too big for the things I carried, and I had a tendency to put things I didn't need in it to keep from "wasting" space.  This bag is perfect for my daily comings and goings. It holds what I need and has great internal organization

Great Daytime Bag!

This is a waterproof, elegant looking, very spacious little backpack. We hiked through WA and OR in multiple conditions and there’s not one scratch on my (gray) backpack! It got a little tossed around in the car also and it looks brand new. I even went underneath some trees on our hikes and I could just wipe off the dirt, without any other scratches, etc.

Went on multiple hiking trips and not one scratch!
