I dont know about shipping to Croatia, but this is one of the biggest pro audio retailers in Europe.
The nice thing about active speakers is that u do not require a separate amplifier. I myself have the Mackie MR 624 and am fairly content with them.

Because you have a decent amplifier i suggest buying passive speakers, ie speakers that connects to an amplifier.

Looking for speakers for my PC in the **150-200$** range. The most important reason for buying a speaker for me are video games and movies, shows, podcasts, etc. I want a clear sound for voice, effects, etc. But even though music isn't a priority it's also important so I want something that isn't crappy for music as well. I have a few questions, and forgive me for not being more specific since I don't know anything about audio equipment. 

One problem is the prices in my country. I always see reviewers say a certain speaker costs around 120$, only to find it cost 250-300$ in my country. I don't enjoy getting scammed, so this is insanely frustrating.

I have an ancient amplifier from the 90-s, the *SA-GX200L*, but it still works with no issue as far as I can tell. **Since my budget is so low and my amplifier is old, should I go for passive or active speakers? What are some products you would recommend me to check out.**

PC speakers in the 150-200$ range? (please read the description)

 Not so enthused about that as you can clearly hear a weaker side on the left speaker with that flimsy wire. They do what I want them to do, which is to play a better quality sound in the control room for monitoring video audio. They seem to be well made and have a black finish. The power button on the front and super quiet (No buzz or pops)

 Still deciding if the price is right for such small speakers, but when you consider their big brothers are usually several $100s more, this may be a good deal after all.

 These E3 speakers sound better and have adjustments for volume and base. One speaker has all the connections and the other gets its power and audio from a copper audio wire included in the box. Not so enthused about that as you can clearly hear a weaker side on the left speaker with that flimsy wire. They do what I want them to do, which is to play a better quality sound in the control room for monitoring video audio

 When I lowered the bass and treble I was honestly shocked that the Eris 3.5s were actually starting to sound nearly as good as the Genelecs when listening to uncompressed music files. Don't get me wrong, the Genelec's still sounded superior but the feeling that they sounded $800+ superior started to fade as I got these dialed in.  So, in the end, I pulled my Presonus Eris 3

I'll keep this one short and sweet.  I had these monitors for about a year and listen to music on them every so often and have used them on for audio mixes for video editing. I had the chance to A/B these against two other pairs of studio monitors since, as a professional tv/film editor, I had a couple rented pairs loaned to me for a couple projects.  Up against the M-Audio BX5s these were my preferred speakers

  Currently I'm working with a pair of Genelec 8030a monitors. When I first A/B these to the Eris 3.5's I have to admit, I immediately was ready to sell these. The Genelecs just sound so good for small studio monitors but you're paying a hell of a lot more

After initially giving up the Presonus, I decided to tweak the bass and treble levels and man, did that do wonders. Out of the box these do not sound flat, there is a definite V shape to the sound

Needs some tweaking but it's a solid performer for the price.

 Same idea here. So if it sounds to tinny or harsh you want to turn down the highs slightly. This reduces the highs and thus the lows will be more prominent. Initially it sounded tinny but after a couple days it either went away or I got used to it I haven't had to touch mine

  One last thing I'd recommend. Since these are fairly portable, but all my wires are routed around desk I don't want to undo them if I decide to take monitors with me somewhere. I bought me an extra power cable and then use the 1/8" to rca cable and speaker cable they give you and put in a small ziplock bag. Now all I have to do is disconnect everything from monitors, grab my ziplock bag of stuff and I'm ready to go

 I was looking to upgrade my 15 year old set of pc speakers that work but I knew I could get better.  Sound wise these are called "Multimedia Studio Monitors" and by that definition these are really accurate. I also primarily have headphones with a flat response curve so these very much sound like headphones in that regard. They do have bass but it's not going to rock the place

 I was looking for a compact package that eight doesn't compromise on sound fidelity and b won't break the bank. I mainly chose a pair of studio monitors over typical speakers because i want a flat, a neutral profile which normally don't get with regular computer speakers. The HS five comes in two color options available in all white or black, with white wool fulfills priced at 199. Each showing a four hundred bucks is definitely not cheap but believe it or not

 The high trim function allows you to just the trouble to either plus to 0 or minus 2 TB and lastly, the bottom is power, switch in a sequence so far, excellent, build quality check, great design check, but what good is the H is 5 v, the sound Doesn'T live up to the legendary Yamaha me? Luckily, the smallest brother in the HS line delivers. However, if your bass head, you can either opt for the HS, 7 or HSA. I need to hear the audio as accurately as possible, so the flat and neutral frequency is very much appreciated.  This monitor has an extremely clean and modern design, which is something with a fan on. There are no bulbous curves anywhere, but instead you have clean and sharp edges in the front that one-inch tweeter resides on top behind a mesh grille and a five inch woofer on the bottom. They'Re, independently amplified sending 25 watts to the tweeter and 45 watts to the wool fur for total combined 70 watts per monitor, speak in the front. I wonder if it's a coincident, that it resembles BBA from Star Wars

Yamaha HS5 Review - Best Studio Monitor For the $$$!

 Prior to this it always sounded like the sound was coming from the upper left of my desk cabinet, whereas after adding the second sub the sound is more centered in the soundstage. The addition of the second sub did not drastically improve sound quality. Any improvement, if there is one, is slight.

 I do not feel that the crossover is great between the sub and the monitor frequencies.  The second sub I received has some slight alterations as it is a newer version purchased at a later date than the first. It also sounds different/responds to different frequencies as demonstrated by a frequency test I performed in Ableton, so be aware that not all HS8 subwoofers are the same.  Overall, I am glad I have two subs just to balance out the soundstage/directionality of the sound

I actually have two of these subs paired with two HS80M studio monitors. One sub alone outputs decent bass, but I feel the sub is not on par in terms of quality with the HS80M studio monitors. Decent

. dominated most studios I worked in. But I have been out of that game for a while and I just needed be free of the muddled mid range and booming distorted lows found in most consumer speakers. These did the trick, I imagine their smaller siblings sound good to but I wanted a pair that (at least for passive listening) would not need a sub

 These sound great mids and lows are flat as a board. Now my problem is I can hear all the crap in the cheap compressed digital recordings and I need to start replacing my audio collection.

For accurate low and mid range sound these are the best. I asked around among some of my sound engineering and musician buddies for accurate near field monitors and these Hs8s were what they told me to buy. I did a lot of recording studio work in the 80s and early 90s and Gauss, JBL, ElectroVoice.

Not the cheapest but you will not regret buying these.

 Once they're messed up, that's it. I already have some ringing in my ears from my younger days and wish I could go back and do those rock concerts over with ear plugs. Another reason is that if you mix with your speakers at high volume, it won't translate well to anyone who ever listens to what you're mixing at lower volumes. So if your sounds are ever going to be played anywhere besides a dance club, this is a legit reason

 These will not blast your eardrums will ungodly amounts of bass and treble very loudly like Beats do. They will, however, show you a crystal clear image of what your music really sounds like. And if it' good music, it'll probably sound very good on these.

I reference any other speakers off of the pair of Bowers and WIlkins 684 floorstanders that I have. Keep in mind that these cost half the price of those and I am just as impressed, all things considered. While these don't produce as "big" of a sound and can't pump out as much volume due their much smaller size, they sound just as pristine to my ears. Now, don't get me wrong, these can fill a bedroom sized room with plenty of sound to satisfy a reasonable listener

At lower volume they tend to lack a little bottom end, and at very high volume the clarity suffers and things start getting a little distorted and muddy. At medium to medium-high volume is where these really shine. If you're using these as studio monitors as they are intended to be used, this volume range is where you'd want to be listening anyways, for various reasons. For one, you don't want to listen at loud volumes for long periods because it will fatigue your ears to the point that listening is longer pleasurable and probably not as objective as is necessary

Well, I certainly don't have any real complaints.

 They're an ideal size, they look good, and they sound good. To top it all off, they have XLR inputs, which is a must.  Sure, they are not as good as super fancy tower speakers, but their clarity and overall range of sound is pretty good for desktop applications.
