Battery performance aside, though, this machine has average scores in all other categories and will tackle most tasks without much fuss. We were particularly impressed with this vac's performance with heavy debris.
There were trouble spots in the Porter-Cable's performance, however. First off, the motor lacks the power to move water at a high rate. Also, the handle of the unit is neither folding nor inset. As a result, the toolbox design is compromised, and storage can be a challenge. The crevice tool is shorter, making deep penetrations challenging, and the filter does not meet the HEPA standard. [music] Hello everyone its Bryan and Jeff from Workshop Adhikam Today we're going to take a look at Porter Cables 20 volt max 2 gallon wet/dry vac. This is model number PCC 795 B and it's sold as a bear tool in price at approximately $79 So since this is Bear Tool, we pulled out our own 4.0 amp hour battery and charger to do some testing with this tool. Now we're going to go over some quick specs

 It also has a very nice soft hose that is seven point eight feet long. Everything packs away nice and neat, makes it easy to carry, and it does come with a three-year warranty. Porter Cable Put some thought in their design of this tool. Everything packs away really nice on it

 There's a crevice tool and it has a very nice hose that is very rubbery, very flexible in its 7 point 8 feet long. so it's going to get into a lot of different places. Now it can be used as a blower and will push 34 CFM or it can be put in the front and used as a vacuum. It's very simple to use, very easy to open up

 There is nothing on this tool that really is difficult to use in any way or hard to get at. The only downside to it that we see is that it doesn't have a single place on here that you can check the fuel of the battery. Overall: I Think this is a complete home run for. Porter Cable Everything on here from storage to power to quietness is awesome

 Unexpectedly we had our HVAC drain clog up and flood our floor. This vacuum worked well for that as well as for sucking water out of the line from time to time so we could still run the A/C in this heat.

The Shark IONFlex is an excellent all-around stick vacuum. In our hard floor cleaning tests, this cordless vacuum performed exceptionally well. It easily folds for storage and has swappable batteries, so the runtime can be extended if you have a spare one on hand. It includes a handful of attachments, giving it the versatility to clean practically anywhere in your home, and switching between surface types is as easy as pressing a button &mdash; no manual head switching needed. It is also easy to operate and highly maneuverable. 
On the downside, this vacuum is still quite pricey, though it is much less expensive than some other premium models. For many, a stick vacuum is a supplemental cleaning tool to be paired with a full-sized vacuum instead of acting as a sole cleaning method. This unit can exceed what most people may be willing to spend on one of these products. For a cordless vacuum, it's also a little on the heavy side.  However, this is still an excellent product if you want high performance.

 I would look into returning it but we are beyond the 30 days. What will I do? Buy a Miele and use this one for the quick jobs. Now for the issues:  The rating is a 3 primarily because we have a golden retriever and it is not optimal for longer fur animals though I think it would be fine for short hair dogs. The fur has gotten trapped in the small wheels that are adjacent to the silver roller with the orange bristles and has jammed them

 The other filters get cleaned once a week. Bottom line, it is a pain in the kazoo to clean.  So, many of you may think I did not think this purchase through. Well, maybe not, but I do not recall anyone mentioning the amount of cleaning the vacuum would require

 In fact, I now cringe to think how poorly our old vacuum was working and, thus, how dirty the rugs were. I have now had it for about 2 months. I would look into returning it but we are beyond the 30 days. What will I do? Buy a Miele and use this one for the quick jobs

Pet owners beware

Easy and convenient to use, but at the end of every vacuuming the head drops a lot of debris. So light,and battery lasts, but this cannot suck like my Kirby. Good for dust maybe

 For about 10 years, we have used a Dyson Animal upright vac, which has been amazing at getting hair and dirt out of the carpets. The Dyson is an exceptional vacuum, but it's quite large, and heavy, and it's corded. We wanted to try a cord-free vacuum, and were impressed by the features and reviews for the Shark IONFlex 2x, so we gave it a try.  There are good and bad points, when taken in consideration -

  GOOD: The Shark is much lighter, and easier to use under or around furniture. It also, by virtue of being smaller, is really well suited to use in our bathroom and kitchen (both are very narrow and tight). The Shark is cordless, and can go from room-to-room, and floor-to-floor, all over the house without looking for an electrical outlet. The battery provides decent power, and lasts for a reasonable amount of time

  THE VERDICT: Well ... while this won't "replace" the Dyson, the Shark does relegate it to strictly "the downstairs" parts of the house

It's good ... not in the same league as a Dyson ... but good.

I’m not sure if it was a faulty one or if they just aren’t as good as they say they are but I would not buy this vacuum again. I’ve loved shark vacuums but this is a no go for me. Guess I’ll just have to dip more money into the less portable one…

 Last but not least ran it over all the floor moldings.  I was impressed with the amount of suction throughout the use. Emptying the dirt cup was a little wonky but now that I know what to do it's not bad.  I would definitely recommend the second battery (ordered mine today) and I picked up the motorized pet tool to do the couches

 I was super excited to use the vacuum and was pleased with how quickly it charged. Once I was charged up it was time to go!  Our home is mostly hard surfaces for flooring, not much carpet. I ran the vacuum on the bare floor energy saver mode and was able to get through the whole house without running out of juice. No dust balls flying around while trying to clean up because the vacuum was blowing them around

 It was very easy to maneuver and the slim roller head fit around tight spots (between dining room chairs and around the commode) with ease.  After another quick trip to the charger while I fixed dinner I popped the dusting tool on and ran it over the TV stand, mantle and coffee table. Last but not least ran it over all the floor moldings.  I was impressed with the amount of suction throughout the use

 This is what we have to stick our hand in to clean it out. I didn't buy a vacuum to touch the very stuff that I'm trying to rid my house off. Gross! If expect more from Shark. If they're going to compete with Dyson, this issue needs to be fixed

READ THIS FIRST BEFORE BUYING - canister issue

 We also recommend cleaning the brushes every third use if you have as many pets as we do. We would definitely buy another one in a heartbeat. For the price, we got our moneys worth.

Bought ours in 2017 and still going strong

 I love that it folds away and has a very small footprint. Lastly the canister is smaller than the one on my Dyson, but is much easier to empty, easier to access the filter and doesn't go flying open if you happen to drop the unit. What can I say, I love this vacuum and it does the job of two Dyson vacuums like a champ.

 I love it! Change is hard and after years with a Dyson, I really was not interested in trying something new. My husband really wanted something where the battery could charge separately. Shark has been very thoughtful about their design. There are three attachments, but two of the attachments can transform into other attachments
