[music] Hello everyone its Bryan and Jeff from Workshop Adhikam Today we're going to take a look at Porter Cables 20 volt max 2 gallon wet/dry vac. This is model number PCC 795 B and it's sold as a bear tool in price at approximately $79 So since this is Bear Tool, we pulled out our own 4.0 amp hour battery and charger to do some testing with this tool. Now we're going to go over some quick specs

 It also has a very nice soft hose that is seven point eight feet long. Everything packs away nice and neat, makes it easy to carry, and it does come with a three-year warranty. Porter Cable Put some thought in their design of this tool. Everything packs away really nice on it

 There's a crevice tool and it has a very nice hose that is very rubbery, very flexible in its 7 point 8 feet long. so it's going to get into a lot of different places. Now it can be used as a blower and will push 34 CFM or it can be put in the front and used as a vacuum. It's very simple to use, very easy to open up

 There is nothing on this tool that really is difficult to use in any way or hard to get at. The only downside to it that we see is that it doesn't have a single place on here that you can check the fuel of the battery. Overall: I Think this is a complete home run for. Porter Cable Everything on here from storage to power to quietness is awesome

 This flaw is absolutely infuriating. I have talked with Hoover and they say that's the way it is designed so not to tangle up on a loose thread, but good God almighty, I spend as much time shutting it down and turning it back on as I do actually vacuuming. It is absolutely infuriating and even though it has a lot of great features, I hate the thing and do not recommend this unit. Also, the on-off switch and mode selector is not handy at all

 We have hardwood floors with many throw rugs that need to be vacuumed, and here in lies the rub. Even on CARPET mode, every darned time the vacuum catches a rug's edge it shuts down and the beater bar quits turning. The only way to start it up again is to turn it off, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on. If you take the vacuum off the edge of the rug quickly it's OK, but if you back up on the rug or get too close to the edge, it catches it and shuts down

 My old Hoover did not pick up as good as this one does, but it never shut down when I hit a rug's edge. It might stop turning until I get it off the edge but it would start up again. This flaw is absolutely infuriating. Great suction, but it could not be more aggravating.

 This machine stands up by itself. That's another real plus. that's a problem with a lot of stick vacuums. So I think for the price this is perfectly reasonable

The lower setting is not adequate for carpet pickup spoiler alert so we're just going to use the highest setting [Music] [Music] All right Well so let's compare first of all, the width to the animal hair you saw

 And what's great about this is they put the weight down low and combine it with a fairly large dust cup and proven battery system. If you're not familiar with Hoover's One Power System, it powers a variety of things anything from a leaf blowers, to flashlights, to vacuum cleaners, shop vacuums, carpet extractors, etc. It's one Eco system that you can interchange the battery in and they're constantly coming out with new stuff that takes this battery. Now there are a few things that separate this cordless vacuum from a lot of others out there

 So yes, you can put that in the dishwasher and it looks like you can put that in the dishwasher as well. Let's see how this did, except for a little bit of fuzziness. it looks pretty much intact to me, so let's let that air dry. In terms of low places, the nozzle does get low to get, like under a chair or something

Oh, how I wanted to love this small, agile vacuum. But, it did not meet the mark. It's small, lightweight, easy to maneuver, and has multiple settings. Although it sounds like things are being picked up off the floor, the suction is not very strong, and most of what's on the floor stays there

 But, a battery that only lasts 30 minutes? Who can clean a house in that amount of time. Might just stick this in closet or sell it. Works OK, but not for the price. And, the extra batteries are too expensive

I bought this about two or three weeks ago. Debated between the Crosswave and this one. Chose this because I had a Hoover Floormate (2 actually) and really did like them. But, the cordless feature and overall design was more appealing

 The canister is easy to dump and I don't have to touch any of the gross stuff. I wanted a solution to have a quick option for hair and crumbs from two adults without having to get out a broom and dustpan or big vac every other day. The bottom was thought through, It can go alongside/under cabinets and furniture and pivots without a problem. I love being able to switch to brush or no brush quickly

 (Don't worry, I'm not talking behind their back, I told them so.) This little baby will stay charged for me to hit the highlights every other day or so for a week in a 2000 sq ft house that's mostly hard wood.  I was super excited for this cordless vacuum. It does however work great on my tiles and wood floors! Easy to empty and clean.

Does not work on carpet or rugs

I have a German Shepherd, this vacuum didn't even last one cleaning before the tube was clogged full of hair. It's poorly designed with too small of a tube from the head to the canister. Would not recommend if your pet sheds.
