Genuinely amazing for the price, and you get, at least when I bought mine, a pack of 5 ink cartridges AND a converter for using bottles ink in the future (Cheap bottled ink like Parker Quink is the most economical way to fill a fountain pen). On AliExpress a Jinhao 992 is a couple of pounds including shipping, but shipping is slow to be fair.

I actually want to like this pen. If this pen performed the way it feels this would be my go to pen. However, I did say if. As it turns out, it writes just OK but not what I would call good

* Conklin - Another one which suffers from quality control issues, if a beginner bought one of these i wouldn't be surprised if they never went back to fountain pens. Both of mine have had issues.

For me this is a negative; I wanted somethin hefty in my hand. The nib is supposed to be a medium sized, but it rights like the fine nib pen that I tested. It still wrote smoothly and consistently. It did not catch on the paper or snag

This pen is heavy, it is almost the same as X750 but it has a tripod section. The ink flow is pretty good. I can't tell anything about the original nib because I bought with a fude nib instead. It should be the same price of the x750

Pros: - Feels really good weight wise (very hefty for a pen). - Top Cover / top clicks very nicely to the base (feels very good to play with while thinking). - Fancy (10 points for Gryffindor?) - Easy to refill (I'm using the cartridges, takes 15 seconds to swap out the cartridge and makes very little, if any mess doing so). - Replacement cartridges are cheap (12 for ~$6), runs about the same (maybe a little less) than a pack of ballpoint pens

Wing Sung 601: $15 vac filler, hooded nib, nail of a fine nib. Good sort of re-pop of the classic Parker 51. Holds ink for days. Good build
