Pelican has a solid reputation and that extends to their iphone cases. I bought my first one for iphone 6 and the reason for this purchase. I do miss the locking holder of the 6 as this one does not have any holder. The case itself is as sturdy as the 6's

 I also miss the clear protector for the screen that was on the 6. Pelican could include this as it helps keep the screen clean.

Quad Lock is the best thing for active people since... ever.

 5 months) and the velcro is already losing its "stick". Sometimes as I am running the velcro just unlatches and I have to catch my armband before it falls off. Obviously my arm doesn't change size, so for 5 consecutive months it has been expected to "stick" and "unstick" in the exact same spot and now it is losing effectiveness. I have had this problem with almost every armband I've ever owned, but not quite this quickly

It’s a good product, but DO NOT leave it in a hot car. The adhesive that held the velcro In place failed even without it being under tension (it didn’t even leave a sticky spot). My fault for not thinking about the effects of extreme heat on a typical velcro adhesive. (Note that it has been exposed to a hot car numerous times before this failure, but in the future I will just bring it inside)
