Cheapest brand new 3200-c16: Patriot Viper Steel (\~3.96x price of the used ones). Disclaimer: I live in a 3rd world country, so PC component availability and pricing differs a lot vs normal global used/new markets.

Currently working to time this kit out, but I'm really saddened that I had to go through all of this for a bit more aesthetic at a premium price. So, let this be a bit of a warning..

Rebooted and straight to desktop at 4400mhz at rated timings. No issues, no hiccups. Ran a few tests. No issues

With my current cooling configuration my RAM temps never exceed 60°C during gaming, infact they hardly break a sweat running at 56- 57°C under load (keep in mind this is with all 4 RAM slots filled on my mobo). I'm a sucker for RGB and I'm a sucker for performance, this set of 4x8 sticks gave my system a much needed boost in performance as I no longer have stuttering/framerate issues while streaming games to twitch using shadowplay or OBS. In addition to that, while most games don't typically rely heavily on CPU or RAM speed, I have seen a nice boost of up to 20 frames in games like Battlefield 5 which does benifit from faster ram speeds. I was originally getting 40-50 fps on high/ultra settings with the 2400 MHz set I had, now I'm getting 60-70 fps (high/ultra) without CPU or GPU OCs

Tested PC Parts CPU - Ryzen 9 3900x OC 4.3ghz on all CCX's Cooler - Noctua NH-U12S (push/pull on NF-12 fans) Board - Asus TUF x570 Plus Wi-Fi bios rev. 1407 ( memory kit is NOT in the motherboard QVL) GPU - Nvidia GTX 1060 6gb (doesn't really matter for this test) Case - Lian Li Lancool II PSU - EVGA 850 G5 Storage - Corsair Force MP600 Tested Profile: CPU Setting - Ryzen Master on Manual OC @ 4.3 1

Do I keep the LED RAM, or do I give the radiator full roof access? If this is just the regular standard for non-cheapo RAM, then it's my stupidness for not getting a bigger case. Or figuring out how to do my own water cooling.

TLDR; 50% of my 4 sticks work. My recommendation would be to spend a little more and find a different vendor if you need high clock high density sticks and avoid the 6+ hour headache hardware revision I just dealt with. Got these because they were on QVL., had a BSOD (GSOD now I guess?) with memory error reference within the first few hours so started digging a bit more

No hassle, no stability issues. If you are a beginner like me I really recommend giving this RAM a shot—just remember to make sure your motherboard can handle them, especially if you're on the Ryzen side. Very happy with my purchase.

my last go with Corsair RAM. Hopefully the replacement sticks will have zero issues, and they can live out there day's in this system. Dominator series RAM is supposed to be top notch Corsair, you truly have missed the mark
